Disgusted by my husband’s hygiene and health habits

I'm genuinely baffled on how to handle my husband's poor hygiene and health habits. Before you ask me why I married him, we didn't live together before we got married, and I always understood that he had weird eating habits, but I didn't realize the extent of it until we got married.

My husband doesn't floss and has very bad breath. Sometimes I can smell it from several feet away from him. He also has tartar build-up in his teeth. I'm not gonna sugarcoat this, it literally disgusts me. I take immaculate care of myself, hygienically and physically. I find it very hard to respect someone who doesn't even respect their own body.

He also eats extremely poorly. This isn't an exaggeration. He has a very long list of food aversions, and he chronically undereats and has a junk food diet. For lunch, he'll eat a can of soup, and then for dinner he might eat a bowl of pasta. And that's all he'll eat for days on end. He doesn't exercise either.

I know that Laura Doyle would suggest that I duct tape. And I know she's right. In the past, I have tried to give him advice on this kind of thing, but it doesn't really change. I've noticed he has made a few positive changes with my guidance, but he will eventually just slip back into the way he was before. The oral hygiene thing is the biggest one though, because I genuinely don't want to kiss him.

I do feel like I'm allowed to have the boundary that if my husband doesn't care for his oral hygiene, I shouldn't feel like I have to kiss him just to appease him. That doesn't seem Laura Doyle coded.

Braces off for one year and my teeth are shifting

I have been wearing my retainers religiously every single night, but I have noticed that the front of my bottom retainer no longer sits flush to my bottom teeth. And whenever I looked closely, I noticed that one of my teeth has shifted back, almost as if there is crowding. It's only a few millimeters, but I'm very concerned because I paid a lot to have these braces on and went through so much.

What should I do at this point? Do I go back to my orthodontist even though I haven't seen him in a year? And do you think he will likely charge me for any fixes? I know I will likely need a new retainer, and I'm willing to pay that. But what about the tooth that has shifted?

How many grams of fresh mushrooms vs dry?

I typically eat 2.5g of dried golden teachers. What would be the ratio for fresh mushrooms right from harvest, AKA what would be the fresh equivalent of 2.5g dry?

Do I cut more flaps and how to harvest?

Hello all! This is my first time growing so I’m completely new at this.

There's pins everywhere, from the top of the fertilizer all the way down to the bottom. I cut a flap across the top of this bag. I cut one slit across and then two down on either side to. You can see it in the first picture where I’m pointing to the flap.

I'm actually starting to get concerned about how I'm going to harvest these mushrooms. I read online that you can have several fruiting stages, so I don't want to ruin the block of soil with the pins on it, but I’m not sure how I’ll reach them.

I'm also wondering if they would benefit from additional cuts in the bag for the fruiting stage, as only the front has the pouch. Do you think I should cut any additional slits or flaps on this bag? And if so, where, or do I leave it as it is?

Is this okay or should I cut the bag?

I'm a first-time grower, and these are golden teachers in a ready-to-grow bag. It looked like the mycelium had taken over 100%, so I cut a slit across the top of the bag. However, I notice a lot of the mushrooms growing along the sides of the bag deep inside. Is this okay, or am I supposed to cut the bag in any other kind of way? Or do I just leave it be?

Castle Branch has me feeling like a Karen.

I’m lucky I started my CastleBranch requirements early because I still have about a month until the deadline, but this has been an absolute nightmare.

I found some of my titers in my health app and uploaded them. They accepted some, but rejected two because the results said the antibody was “detected.” Apparently “detected” isn’t good enough. It has to specifically say positive, negative, equivocal, or one of several other words that basically mean the same thing.

I’ve gone to my doctor’s office three separate times for new documentation, and every version has been rejected. I even called CastleBranch today and asked them to do a three-way call with my doctor’s office so they could explain exactly what they needed. They called my doctor’s office, but my doctor said they’d call me back, so the three-way call never happened.

At this point I feel like a total Karen toward my doctor’s office, and it’s all because of CastleBranch. I even had to copy and paste the rejection notice into a message to my care team because they kept telling me to upload the same documents that had already been rejected.

To make things worse, I can’t find my chickenpox titer, so I may have to go back a fourth time. I swear my care team probably thinks I’m a nightmare, but if I don’t keep pushing, I literally don’t get into nursing school.

People always say nursing school tries to weed people out, and honestly this feels like part of the process. It’s incredibly frustrating.

Edit: Also each time I call Castle Branch I’m on hold for literally 3+ hours.

I just want to be wanted

I, 31f Genuinely wish I never got married. I wish I had someone to talk to, someone who could just help me through this. If anyone else is going through something similar, please feel free to reach out to me. I really need someone to talk to.

Husband just told me he wants me to move out of the bedroom and he wants to sleep in separate rooms. Our marriage had a pretty major rupture about three weeks ago and I just can't deal with this whiplash. I thought we were finally getting close again for him to drop that bomb. He says he feels like he can't tell me anything without me getting upset, but how am I not supposed to get upset about that?

Best budget friendly canned food with no artificial color?

I feed Purina Pro Plan dry food to my cat, but give her canned food to supplement this for the extra moisture. For canned food I currently give her Fancy Feast Pate.

However, I'm entering a tight season with my budget and may need to downgrade my cat's food slightly. Is there a canned food that is cheaper than Fancy Feast that I can give my cat, preferably that doesn't contain artificial color?

I figure it’s better to downgrade the canned food instead of dry since she eats dry food as her base and canned food is more of a supplement. Am I right in this line of thinking, or should it be the opposite where I downgrade her dry food and keep the same quality of canned food?

Best budget friendly canned dog food with no artificial color?

I’ve been feeding my girl Purina One beef canned food but need to tighten my budget. I only feed canned food as a topper, I feed dry Purina Pro Plan as the backbone of her diet. Despite canned food only being a topper, I don't want to include anything that contains carcinogens such as artificial color. Are there any canned foods that are cheaper than the Purina One, or is Purina One truly my best budget option?

I figure it's better to downgrade her canned food than her dry food since she primarily eats the dry food. I want to feed Pro Plan for as long as I can because I want her to have a high-quality base for her diet.
