Navy Federal sided with the merchant because he had a tracking number for the return label.

The thing is, creating a return label does absolutely no good if it's not sent to me.

Tl;dr -, ordered a product online, received wrong product, immediately notified seller, spoke to seller day after wrong item was received, waited another 7 days after calling, leaving messages, and texting with no response, never received return label, filed a chargeback, NFCU sided with seller.

Was informed Monday by Navy Federal Credit Union that they denied my claim. They said that they received a tracking number for a return label from the seller. I asked if there was proof that he sent it to me, because a return label does me absolutely no good if I don't have it. They asked me if I could "prove I didn't get it". How the heck do you prove you weren't given something?

I requested all the files from the investigation and received them today. The only evidence was the tracking info from when the wrong item was shipped to me, a screenshot from the seller showing my email informing them of the wrong item, and the tracking info for the return label that was created but never sent to me.

I'm not sure if I can appeal this or not. Can I escalate this to Visa? The chargeback is coded as 13.3, "not as described or defective merchandise/services".

It's looking like I'm just out $87.

I purchased an item from an online store June 25th for $87, and they use shop.com. Order received July 2nd, and it was the wrong item. I tried calling the seller and didn't get an answer, so I sent an email to the email address on their website.

I tried calling again the morning of July 3rd, and someone answered (the owner, I presume). He seemed sincere and apologized, and said to text him my order information and a picture of the product I received, and I did. He said he will get the correct item shipped out to me. It was a holiday weekend so I waited until July 7th to reach out via call and text, and didn't get a response to either. I called July 8th and did not receive a response.

By July 10th, 8 days after receiving the incorrect item, I started a chargeback with my credit union (Visa CC). I have submitted all of my evidence, photos of the wrong item and the package it came in, screenshots of texts, calls, initial email etc.

Today I received this email from the seller. This is the only communication I have received from the seller since the phone call that took place July 3rd.

"We sent you a return label when you sent the original email. You are going to end up losing your money on the charge back you submitted. I would send the remote back so we can exchange and tell your bank to close it before you lose. We are protected by our policies on your charge back. They will take your money and charge you $15."

I have not received a return envelope nor an email, and I searched my spam folder. If that was the path that was discussed taking, I would have done so.

Is he just trying to scare me into cancelling the chargeback? I didn't reply, and I added this screenshot to my case online. If anything, it shows I indeed received the wrong item. I am a bit worried now that he says their policies protect them and I'm going to lose my money.

Samsung S23 Ultra and Galaxy 8+ tablet. Usually seamless connection works fine. Now I have to manually connect between devices. Seamless connection setting is still on.

I also can't use my buds for phone calls. It shows that it's connected, but when I press the on screen button to go from earpiece to buds, nothing happens.

Should I delete from both devices and re-pair? Is this a common issue?

Today I was on the way to pick up my daughter from school. Was a few cars back at a red light. Accelerated with traffic. Cars in front slowed down so I let off the accelerator, and when I went to resume speer, my SF revved to about 2100rpm like it was in neutral and didn't move forward until it lurched like I neutral dumped it.

I have a dashcam but audio is turned off so it wouldn't prove anything.

I'm not bashing on this car. It's my favorite daily I've ever had in almost 40 years of existence. The transmission hiccups are so rare I know the dealer won't be able to replicate it.

One thing that can be replicated though, is every time the car sits for more than maybe 20 minutes, it's like the engine is sputtering and it won't shift until running for a minute on engine power only. Definitely worse in the mornings. Dealer says it's normal.

Only making this post so maybe someone with the same issues down the road searches this subreddit and sees a similar issue.

I love this car and will keep driving it. I am also going to turn the audio on on my dash cam.
