Hi everyone,

Having some issues with a 2013 Tiguan.

I recently replaced alll ignition coils and spark plugs and everything was fine for a good while. Then as I was driving home one day after a long 500 mile trip, the car started jerking and had limited power and the check engine light came on and I ran the code reader and got back P0029 which as far as I know is turbo underboost stuff.

Anyway, check engine light turns off and everything seemed fine. I was used to my car “fixing itself” when I had my 2011 ford focus, which mechanically speaking was the best car I’ve ever owned.

Alright, P0029 happens and now my car is using up oil like a porno set and it’s like I can’t keep any in and in sending 120 bucks a week just on oil.

Then again something happens and it all seems ok. Mechanic I took it too said it was ok.

Now I’m driving to an event I can’t miss if I wanted to pay my bills this month and at the last leg of my trip… I have 29 miles to go, the car starts shaking, no power, EPC and blinking check engine light comes on and I get it to a parking lot and check the oil and no oil. I immediately get some oil and let the engine sit for a minute and put the oil in.

Now I’m getting codes:

P0299
P0011
P000A
P0300
P0303
P0304
P0506

I do know what they mean, I just don’t know why I’m getting them.

I checked the plugs on 3/4 and the were grimey and a bit oily and like I said I just replaced all of that recently.

So I don’t know what’s going on. Some help to get an idea would be appreciated.

It’s definitely misfiring, that’s all I’ve got.

TLDR:

2013 Tiguan: Replaced plugs/coils → later got P0299. Since then it’s been burning/losing oil like crazy (~$120/week). Now it suddenly has severe shaking, almost no power then it does have power, EPC + flashing CEL, and was out of oil.

Current codes: P0299, P0011, P000A, P0300, P0303, P0304, P0506.

Checked Plugs 3 & 4 they were oily/grimy.

Wish I had my Ford and never got talked into buying a VW.

Unfortunately I’m dead broke after rent and bills this month and I have a bit of laundry to do. Anyone know of places that may have a place to do a few loads of laundry either free or close to free? Or maybe gives out those laundry card things?

Looks like CCA has changed leadership yet again something like the sixth time in the past three years.

After shutting down and eventually reopening, it finally seemed like things were headed in the right direction under the team that turned the place around. Now the plan is going back to the same inept decisions that led to the shutdown in the first place.

Legit have never had this bad of luck in the years I’ve been playing.
