For the last few months, I’ve been working with some Claude code to be able to reverse engineer the Delphi ECUs for the older trucks here in the USA that had the 6ve1 and 6vD1. I think the 2.2s may have had them too though not sure.
Anyway. I successfully managed to tune an ECU after months of research, bricking 3 ECUs, and lots of community support over on planetisuzoo.
However, I’ve moved away from that forum because of all the drama that happened recently. I’m over at isuzunation now and I’m currently in the process of turning the scripts into an open source program so that everybody will be able to tune their ECUs if they want.
Figured I’d get the word out.
This is from an Isuzu 3.2L
It’s a PCM32U unit manufactured by Delphi, but I’m trying to find the equivalent of what would be the recovery pin to ground. It doesn’t have the pins in the same location as a P01 or P59, at least, it doesn’t appear to.

Hey guys. I’m here to share our story regarding the long-running Isuzu forum, Planet Isuzoo.
Long story short, things finally came to a head between the long-running veterans of the site and the company VerticalScope that acquired the forum years and years ago.
All of the veterans have moved to Isuzu nation and are building that up as their new space.
I say this because if you’re looking for help or answers, you probably won’t find it on planet isuzoo anymore.

Everyone I’ve spoken to has told me at minimum $1100 for this. I don’t know that I’m gonna be able to do it myself all the way through, but I would like to get it in a condition that will not warrant such a high amount to get it fixed.
I’ve been working my way through some of the bigger creases, but I don’t know what to do to get this looking better. Any advice from the experts here?
I have a slide hammer and tabs, a puller, and some knockdowns. I also have a light board but I’m certainly not there yet.
I had one of these in college. I loved it and it was my favorite car I’ve ever owned.
Now that I’ve got a big boy job and big boy money, I picked up a round two as a project car.
I’ve got big plans for it and the product management experience to realize them. I’ll post again when the build’s done so you can roast the after.

Is there anyone that would be willing to go to the junkyard and pull a part for me and mail it? I would obviously pay for your time and effort and pay for the mailing.
I live across the country and there is a part that is 1 of 3 in the USA right now in good condition.
