I’m seeing the rise in popularity for Perk Energy Hot Chocolate in the LDS community. Isn’t that a caffeinated… hot drink? Genuine question here: how is that okay but coffee is not?

Suddenly I’m questioning my friendship. It’s actually my best friend and her fiancé. They don’t have kids and don’t ever plan to have them. They don’t necessarily love kids, which is fine. However, now that my 2.5 year old is no longer a cute quiet baby, they (especially the fiancé) have been more passive aggressive with their comments. Talking about how loud and messy my kids are. My 2 year old was whining and they said “you’re killing the vibes.” And just recently he’s referring them as crotch goblins. It doesn’t feel like a joke. It actually really hurt my feelings. Felt like a total insult, really. My kids are kids. A little on the wilder side, sure, but good kids. I’m in their wedding and I’m just genuinely sad about it. I think it’s becoming more clear that we’re just in different worlds now and I’m questioning if I’m outgrowing this friendship.

I know the first few rides they go on could shape how they approach all other rides. She 2.5 year is pretty rambunctious and fearless. I’m thinking Dumbo or Peter Pan (definitely not Pinocchio or Mr. Toads). Our first day will be in the afternoon, so not ripe dropping.

We will have LL passes and likely won’t be going on huge rides as much. What’s the best way to rope drop the little-friendly rides?

Hear me out:

Pour 6oz water. 3 scoops formula. You end up with over 7oz of volume now.

Pitcher method. I make a days worth in my Dr. Browns pitcher. I pour her 6oz.

Is she getting less formula when I do that?? I’m not sure if it exactly matters or not, but it bugs me 😅

I’ll have a 1 and 2.5 year old. My oldest is BUSY. I’m a little worried she will be hard in line. I’ve never gone with kids before.

Deciding if we do the dining package for it. Or even plan for it in general! I was told it was really underwhelming.

Size of kitchen aside, a 9x4 island seems so… big? I’ll have 3 kids pretty close in age. I do love to bake and cook. Does anyone who has this size feel like it’s excessive? Regrets?

I’m coming from a small old home to building our dream home (debt free, yay) and it just feels so weird picking nice things. I mean, I have a huge walk in panty. I’m still in shock!!

We will do it on the first night we get into town. We will be a group of 8 - including a 1 and 2.5 year old.
