Are Arctic P12 Slim better than stock fans

I'm thinking of replacing the stock sickleflow fans at the top with the arctic p12 slims so that I can then move my sfx psu into the sfx L slot and increase clearance from the gpu. But just wanted to know if they perform as good as the stock 25mm fans? I don't want to make this change if the fans perform worse. Currently my top fans are set as exhaust.

Loose sense wire on 12vhpwr cable - is it an issue?

So I ordered a sf1000 psu recently which came with the type 5 2x8 pin to 12vhpwr 600w cable. However after a few days one of the two sense wires has seperated from the other wires. It's still connected but it's very flimsy. Is this an issue? Do I need a new cable?

Update on new gpu that was used

So a few days ago I made a post about buying a brand new gpu that appeared to be used. Link to the post below:

https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/1t9nqpj?is_gallery=true

The shop responded and gave me a choice between returning it for a full refund or keeping it and getting a 15% discount on the price. That would make it roughly the price of a brand new 5070 ti here in the UK. If I returned it for full refund, I'd have to pay £100+ for a new 5080 over what I paid originally. The card has no damage and does turn on. What would you do in this situation?

Dual bios switch on palit gaming pro is too small

So I have a palit gaming pro 5080 which has a dual bios switch next to power connector. But it’s very small and I can’t get my little finger to flip the switch. Does anyone own this model and know how to safely switch the bios?

Bought a new gpu but I think its been used before

So I bought a Palit Gaming Pro 5080 brand new from a UK retailer. The box looked new and sealed, and the anti static bag was also sealed. But a couple of things are making me think this gpu has been used before.

  1. There was no Palit mouse mat and sticker in box like in other unboxings of this gpu:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0OsLFiuMgc

  1. The foam in box had marks underneath

  2. There's some dust on the gpu fan as well as a red speck on top. From other videos I've seen the Palit gpus don't come with a plastic film on them.

What do you guys think? Is this normal for a new gpu?

Considering getting this psu but I haven't seen many reviews/discussion of it compared to the ATX 3.0 version. It will be used for a 5080 and 5700x build. If you own this version, how is the noise?

Can i sign up for EE broadband on their website as current BT customer

So I currently have a FTTP and digital voice package with BT and my contract ends in 2 months. I called up BT to see what deal they could offer me if I migrated to EE but the prices they offered weren't that much cheaper than my current deal.

Then I saw that on EE website, the deals they are offering new customers are much cheaper than what I was quoted. So could I sign up for EE broadband on their website and do a transfer from BT? Or would their be issues.

So I posted a tracked 24 parcel at my post office at 3:55pm at 29th April. This was before the last collection.

As of 10am today, the latest update is still 'We've got it' showing its been posted at parcelshop. I've had delays with tracked 24 parcels before but usually by now it will have been scanned at my local mc (which is Birmingham MC). What reason could there be for it not to have been scanned by a mc by now? Is my parcel lost?

UPDATE:

Tracking has now updated to say its been received at West Midlands Super Hub and is scheduled for delivery tomorrow.

So basically I have BT Full Fibre 300 FTTP broadband and digital voice. My contract finishes in August and once it finishes I want to switch broadband to another provider and the landline to a VOIP provider. The main reason is because it's a hassle to use your own router with BT digital voice. So having a separate provider for the landline will make it a lot easier for me.

I understand that if I port my number to a voip provider, it will cancel both the broadband and landline together. So what's the process I should follow to minimise internet downtime?

So I currently have a BT FTTP contract thats ending in 3 months. I saw that Vodafone offers switching credit up to £200 to cover early termination fees if you switch before the end of the contract. Can anyone share their experiences with this? Does Vodafone give the credit quickly or is it a hassle to get?

So I currently have BT full fibre 300 broadband with their smart hub 2 and digital voice. The smart hub 2 is only WiFi 5 and I've seen that the EE routers are WiFi 6. If I bought a EE router off Ebay, would it work without the need to connect it to the smart hub 2?
