Just agreed to 2021 Yamaha Gas cart. Good deal or pass?

Hi friends, I agreed over the phone to purchase this cart from a fellow camper that is selling everything due to health at the campground we use. I have not seen it in person, but the guy seems authentic and said it is in excellent shape. He said a dealer near there brought hundreds of these from California and refurbs them. The same dealer has these listed for $7900. I offered him 6K and he agreed after asking 6.5k. He said he bought it a year and half ago and it's barely used due to his wife's health. Closing the deal this week.

Insuring a golf cart?

Hi friends.... We are looking at buying a golf cart at the rv park we frequent and they require insurance. I'm curious who other usaa members insure their carts with. I'm looking for a low cost option to satisfy the park.

Experience with trying to move to State Farm

Hi friends.... I figured I would share my attempt to change after 42 years. State Farm offered savings of about 600 per year for home and 2 vehicles. I agreed and paid the 1st month. The agent advised to not cancel until the underwriters approved the policy. They sent a property inspector out to take pictures. A few days later the agent advised that my roof being 15 years old caused the policy to be denied. So after all that I will be staying with the devil I know..... the agent said to call him bacj if I get the roof replaced. Lol....

Friends...I need some buying advise.

Hi friends.....will be getting a golf cart to use in our RV resort in Branson. Plenty of choice around town. I found this one that seems like a really good price. The catch is it has AGM batteries. I find lot's "don't get AGM batteries" comments but that price seems really good. About 2K under the nearest lithium cart. I will be leaving the cart covered in the park storage and plan on using it at least once a month. Should I pass or consider this. Facebook

Just to follow-up with my thought process. I am thinking that if I get this and the batteries were a mistake, I could upgrade to lithium for around $1k and still save $1500 over what a similar lithium model is going for now.

Found a Amplify router for $8 at goodwill?

Saw the UNIFI logo and it peaked my interest so I grabbed it and found out later that it is pretty old. Never seen it before. Did not include a PS so that was another $17. Did I just waste $25 bucks or is this usable?

Looking to drop USAA after 45 years. Suggestions?

Hi friends. Been with USAA since the early 80's s a dependent from my father who was retired Army. I get the little stipend every year about $85. We have 2 cars and our home. The premiums have gotten a bit ridiculous, up almost 35% this renewal cycle. Modest house worth about 200K that we have owned for 40 years. At this point in my life, I am able to self-ensure everything but not ready to commit to that, so I plan on raising all of my deductibles to buy down the rate. I basically want catastrophic loss insurance. I called USAA and asked why I am insured for a 400K rebuild cost when the house is barely worth 200K. Why can't I change that? If the house gets blown away and I live, I will simply want 200k for it. I raised my wind hail deduct to 10K to get some relief but figure that it is worth a shot switching companies. Anyone with suggestions on what company I should get a quote from? My policy renews next month.

Legacy visible - > visible + question

Hi friends... I have 3 phones on the legacy visible plan since visible launched. All 3 are on separate accounts because that was the only option back then. I am paying 25 a month. I am thinking about moving them to + plans and wanted to see my options. I would love to get them under 1 account and would not mind paying a little more for a more premium service. I know I don't want to pay for the 45 a month plan on each one. What is the best move for me?

Hi friends. I've had this fat PS3 sitting and drawing dust for a while now. I'd like to mod it. It is on 4.82 firmware now and most of the youtube videos I found for 4.82 are really old. I figure I would ask before I start the process. Since it is on 4.82 what is the right way to go about this?
