Molly Tea Star Cup

So a Molly Tea opened up in the Carrollton J-town area and one of the promos was a free star cup for the first 100 customers.

They had a soft launch on the 10th and being in the first 100 didn't count (sadly). Good news is that I found out what their cup looks like! I couldn't find it anywhere on the internet and it was a complete mystery to me. I wanted to make a post showing off what the cup is. It's basically a Stanley with cute sticker-like doodle designs on it. 😂

They also have a Dallas Pin but I wasn't super interested in it. Anyway, yay! We have more trendy restaurant chains in Carrollton.

Compatible Converter for this Polycarbonate Muji Fountain Pen (frosted body)?

I recently got this fountain pen from Muji and it came with ink cartridges. However, I want to use more colorful inks with a converter. What are some compatible ones?

I tried the Platinum converter 800A and it doesn't fit (it was recommended by Google and Amazon's AI.) I did try the Schmidt K5 Push In Deluxe Fountain Pen Ink Converter and it mostly fits. However, I tend to see some ink leakage and it doesn't look exactly like the ink cartridge the pen came with.

Any insight is appreciated. Thank you!

Downsides of Switching Classes this close to Census Date

What the title says. I'm willing to take the "W", do the work all over again, etc. Is there any downsides I'm not aware of? I just worry about my GPA dropping.

Financial Aid + Scholarship Update (Good News)

Hey guys, it looks like the school was able to dispurse my financial aid. I wasn't a lot but it's better than nothing. They also finally processed my scholarship too! However, that money isn't coming in until after the census date.

Went to the office on Friday and it looks like they've already been dispersing funds. Yay! If you haven't received anything, you can let me know and I can do my best to go to the offices in the morning to get you to a person (maybe get you a video call or something?) Ik how hard it is for distanced learners.

Financial Aid Office (In-Person)

So for those of you who don't know: Due to the Big Beautiful Bill has taken into effect and UTA is updating their aid dispersing platform. Any FAFSA filed after April 24th is stuck in the Financial Aid office and they are unable to upload it to our files due to waiting for their portal to reflect the changes.

As of today the front desk has informed me that loans and financial aid will be uploaded/dispersed sometime this week or next week. These effects also affect the scholarship office too.

Another note: There's slightly more people working in the Financial aid office and they're currently quick to answer phones compared to the scholarship office. 😅

UTA Scholarship Office Update (In-Person)

So I'm at the Scholarship Office in person. Yes, there are people working but it's only 3 people at the office. They're also the only 3 answering calls. I was on hold for 2 hours prior to my drive there. They really ARE short staffed. I'll also update what the financial aid office is like after taking care of my own stuff. I can also overhear a staff member having technical difficulties.🫠

Dafni Klix: Follow Up Review (4 months later)

I have only used their hair clips that have magnets a handful of times throughout the past few months...I don't even rub the back of my head on anything. The paint is already chipping off. Functionally, all the clips I have (the sandstone and klix bow) work but the degrading paint concerns me in terms of longevity.

Scholarship Office help

Guys, I've been trying to contact the scholarship office multiple times and it looks like no one is in the office. It keeps saying no one is available and to leave a message. I've been at this for 2 weeks. I tried calling their number, email, etc. All within the weekday between their working hours. For the in person people, is there anyone at the office? Are they busy? Wtf is going on?

I've been having issues with my practicum supervisor since the very beginning. They almost never provide feedback (I have to prompt them), I have made multiple attempts to ask them what they are looking for and recieve vague answers. They gave me no positive feedback in their evaluation and it's frustrating, I seriously did nothing good? Not a single strength? They haven't trusted me to do ANYTHING since the start. No matter what I did, nothing was ever good enough or qualified me as being competent.

I've tried letting both the liaison and the agency leadership know about the issue during the semester. Both have told me to tough it out and that there wasn't anything they could do. Now it's resulting in me barely passing even though I know the grading is unfair.

Am I able to file an appeal, will my university think it's a good reason? There technically wasn't any discrimination or violation of the syllabus. It's just that the judgement was unfair and I wasn't even aware of what my supervisor was thinking and what they wanted to see from me.

I'm more than happy to answer questions regarding context. My head space is all over the place.
