who here remembers the facebook beef between emo and swag culture in the early 2010s?
i was a mix of both sides. i leaned more toward the late emo scene at heart but emo fashion wasnt really something i could access at the time and i wasnt confident enough to pull it off myself. on the other hand swag fashion was mor accessible and practical back then. all you needed was tshirt, baseball cap skinny pencil fits and bulky supra shoes knockoff or vans knockoffs
does anyone here remember the pioneers of the swag movement, like soulja boy, tyga, jb and especially new boyz with viral songs like you are a j€rk and tie me down ? so is there anyone who followed that subculture between 2008-2013?
before skrillex there was post hardcore, emo scene sonny moore
what is the one food from your country you think everyone should try at least once in their life?
one food from my country i think everyone should try at least once in their life is chicken / mutton biryani especially the hyderabadi or thalassery versions. people who havent tried biryani are seriously missing out. its one of those perfect comfort foods where every bite is full of flavor and little undertones, with soft rice, tender meat and spices that hit in layers instead of all at once. it just makes you appreciate how good it is to sit down and enjoy real food properly, where you actually slow down and notice the taste instead of just eating to get full.
how many of you make fan edits? heres one i made of my favorite character alice cullen.
so where do we really stand on ai?
i know as a collective we are against ai, but are we completely against it, or is there a line somewhere? where do we actually draw that line? is it okay to use ai just to separate stems from a song, or is that already crossing it? what about tools like synthplant 2 that already have built in ai features for sound design and synthesis are those still considered fine since they are just part of the workflow or do they count as something we should avoid too
