Any insiders have hints on when the 5800X3D A.E. will drop at MC?
Now that it's been spotted on sketchyretailsite.in, I'm hoping it'll be any day now...

To me, it's high priority to maintain a competitive edge in this market and to stay employable. But I feel like people outside IT take for granted that a job will always be there, and there's this paradox where they certainly expect you to stay employed and have an income, but at the same time resent efforts you put toward that goal. Almost like a passive aggressive attitude that these study pursuits should be low priority.
Microcenter has the 270K for $259, and I could probably get a few bucks for the 265K on eBay to help offset. Worth the trouble?
I feel like ever since this thing was announced, any question you may have is interpreted as negative vibes and criticism, and then downvoted. The truth is I'm interested in this system, I think it's great when options come about, but I think it's a bad idea to throw money at a screen without any due diligence. So that said, I've had questions, many of which I've asked before here or other places: The CD pad button layout being one (and I think it's totally fine if you like the more modern layout, but I think this is something they should be transparent about). And I'd like to know if the cartridges use mask roms or eproms or something else. This can affect longevity. And will our current SCART cables work with the new unit? And of course will the NeoSD work with it, the Furrtek converter, indie games from NGDev or Nalua? And is the memory card format the same and backwards compatible (not just physical, but the logical formatting); this one may have already been answered, but just an example.
I'm not sure who else remembers when the Neo Geo X was announced, but there was a lot of hype around that only for it to be a big disappointment. And it's easy to say "oh yeah, sure, it was bad because of X, Y, Z" because that's hindsight. I'm hopeful the AES+ will be much better, and there are plenty of signs that it will. But still, I think it's prudent to ask questions and be cautious before we throw our money at renders and internet promises. My two cents.
Edit: And this post is primarily about the negative responses to asking the questions, not the questions themselves. I asked all of these questions when this thing was announced, back when people were throwing money at the screen and didn't seem to care about the answers. I deleted those questions due to the reception they got.
Wanting to see the underwater build, and see what kind of network connection we can get with ULF.
