Product recommendations for thick, dry, and frizzy hair for my mom

Hi everyone,

I am here to seek recommendations to help out my mom’s hair. I talked to her on the phone yesterday and she sounds saddened over her unruly hair. Her birthday is coming up so I would like to get her a few hair products to help her out.

Her hair is really thick, dry and because of the Midwest humidity, gets frizzy. Give me your best products that will help her! I have been looking at Kerastase and Oribe, but they are pretty pricey. But brand doesn’t matter, I just want something that works. I was thinking along the lines of a hair mask or conditioning treatment or anything else really. What do you recommend? Thank you! ☺️

Bralettes that do not stretch out or lose their shape after you wash them?

Hello,

Can anyone recommend me a bralette that is high quality and will not lose its shape after machine washing and daily use? I am a B cup and I prefer a bralette over a traditional bra bc of comfort. The two bralettes I have that are from TJ Maxx/marshalls have become baggy and don’t fit well anymore. There is no support left. I would like for it to have adjustable straps and some padding. Any recommendations? Budget is < $50 Thank you! ☺️

Frustrated with vet experience. Am I being unreasonable?

I took my Yorkie to the vet today because he had what looked like a skin rash. It turned out to be something different (a cyst) and they gave him medicine to clear it up. To take a closer look, the vet shaved a tiny circle on him about the size of a half dollar. My frustration comes from the final bill. They charged $85 for the initial inspection and diagnoses, $55 for the medicine, and $35 to shave his hair?! I think that it’s ridiculous to charge me $35 to shave a tiny circle in his hair. Shouldn’t that be included in the $85 inspection fee? I go to a small town clinic and picked this place bc I didn’t think they would nickel and dime me like a larger clinic in the city or a chain would. Am I being unreasonable? The vet that owns the place was out of town. I am thinking about taking my receipt and going to talk to her about it. $35 won’t break my bank, but it’s more of the principal. What do you think? Thanks

[Product Question] which is better.. Naturium retinaldehyde cream serum or Geek and Gorgeous A Game Retinal?

Hello!

I have been trying to make 0.025% Tret work for me and it just doesn’t. No matter what I do, my skin freaks and gets all red and flaky and bumpy. So.. I have accepted that Tret just doesn’t work for me. I am now looking to try a retinaldhyde/retinal instead. I think I have it narrowed down to getting either Naturium retinaldehyde cream serum or the Geek and Gorgeous A Game retinal.

Anybody have any experiences or thoughts about these products? Just looking for something that is gentle, yet effective for my dry and sensitive skin! Thanks

Does anyone take their Yorkies for a run?

Hi,

I like to run outside for exercise. I have a 12 pound male Yorkie that is 1.5 years old. I would like for him to go running with me, but I’m not sure if it would be too much for him or not. Even if I only went a mile or two. Does anyone run with their Yorkie? Do they seem to enjoy it and how far do you go? Thanks ☺️
