My 3month old kitten pants& his heart races while he’s playing, he plays really hard & it’s humid in my house & it’s still hot here where i live, should i be concerned?
I’ve ordered some cooling towels & bed for him that come tomorrow & he’s got cold fresh water:)
I got a kitten on Monday & immediately my resident cat wasn’t a fan of the idea, now just 2 days later he’s a lot more acceptive of the kitten, he’ll even come over & sniff him , they’ll eat within a foot of each other but occasionally he still hisses & swats at him.
Is it going okay so far? Will the hissing & swatting go away soon?
Really strong smell of & tar or something burning outside?
So when i was a kid i had this bedding set that was mainly red but at the top was white, like maybe a foot of it was white? And in that white part was Japanese or maybe Chinese writing? , i was about 5 when i had this but it was my moms who passed away around then & would be cool to find it, it’s what she was using while bed bound.
This story is from my grandmother who said she has clippings from the newspaper still so if i get them ill upload pics of them.
Anyway when my grandma(Helen) was a kid she lived in an old house that was built during WW1, she lived with her 2 older brothers who shared a room & her mom, one day her mom bought a new set of drawers that had a mirror attached to the top of them, it was for the boys room, from that day on there dog who spent most the time in that room refused to ever go in there again, he would sit & growl at the door.
As time went on things got worse, the door would lock itself while no-one was in there only to creek open on its own accord later through the day/night, her oldest brother (John) he started getting nightmares of what he described as a witch sat on his bed looking out the window. Occasionally her other brother (Mike) would wake up crying with an overwhelming sadness that didn’t seem to be triggered by anything.
Months later after this in the night the house set on fire, they was never an explanation of what caused the fire, nothing they could find suggested towards anything suspicious such as electricity or arson, it just seemed to happen. My grandma and her mom got out first, Mike was out at a friends & John was presumed dead as they was only 1 way out & he hadn’t come out. As my grandma is sat with her mom in the ambulance they tell her that her son just got home & he’s okay, thinking it’s Mike they went to see him but to there shock it was John who to this day says he was asleep in his bed & woke up in a neighbours garden. No memory of any fire.
When they got to go back to the house to salvage what they can everything in there room was destroyed or incredibly smoke damaged, everything but the drawers, they was completely fine, not a single scratch or even mark on the mirror.
For context my grandma doesn’t believe in ghosts, she’s never mentioned anything like this before in-fact she’s very religious & said a prayer before and after telling me this & the house burning down without a cause is in the newspaper she has.

So i’m in the uk, i was watching UFC live and in my time zone it usually finishes about 6am & i finally sleep at 7am, anyway id finished watching & i was in bed falling asleep & i hear my computer keyboard asif someones typing maybe 5 keys & then it stopped & I thought im just tired so i carried on laying down trying to sleep & again it went & it repeated maybe 5 times until i put it in my bathroom & closed the door lol, I didn’t actually see a key get pressed but i definitely heard it, at the point where i wasn’t even half asleep from being spooked i still heard it, although i use the keyboard to this day & its never happened again but i still occasionally expect it to happen.
When i was young, maybe 3-5 i had a bed that was like a bunk bed but the bottom bunk wasn’t a bunk it was just storage, anyway I have no idea what time but i woke up in the middle of the night & they was a woman in a really pale blue dress stood in-front of my door, she looked young maybe in her 20s & it looked like she was screaming but they was no sound, i hid under my blanket & when i peaked again she was gone.
Im in my 20s now & I’m not necessarily a “believer” nor do I disbelieve but i was always told it was just a nightmare but I can still picture it like it just happened, & I’ve had way scarier dreams as a kid & I don’t remember them but my mom described some of the things I said happened in my nightmares & this was seriously nothing in comparison so why would I remember her/it so perfectly?
Anyone got any similar experiences? Or ideas what it could of being? or feel free to ask me any extra details.

I got a male kitten today because my older male cat who is 11 seemed lonely & the vet described him as depressed & said getting him a buddy isn’t a bad idea, my older cat has being near other cats in the past and was fine, he’s usually the most chilled out cat imaginable but he hates the kitten, as soon as he saw him he was hissing & making almost demonic noises & I know you should separate them at first but I live in a studio flat & the only door is for the bathroom & I can’t keep one in there, the older cat hasn’t attacked the kitten but he’s staying hidden while the kitten doesn’t care, even when he was hissing in his face he didn’t care slightly, but I don’t know what to do when I need to leave the house? I didn’t know if to order a cage for the kitten? (A big cage with enough room for bed, tray, food & play) but then putting the kitten in there doesn’t feel fair as he isn’t the aggressor, how can I make them get along better? Or atleast make my older cat calm down?
Is anyone giving away or selling a cat/kitten? Looking to get another as I have just 1 11 year old cat who gets lonely.
