Looking for guidance on KVM switch

What I’m hoping to accomplish:

I’m looking to setup a two pc workstation. I want to use a KVM switch to allow me to use the same keyboard and mouse for both PCs. I’d also like to have a dual monitor setup where I can run both monitors on pc number 1 and to be able to switch to where each pc will have its own monitor. Hopefully that makes sense.

Any recommended units for this?

DP for one monitor and HDMI for the other. One monitor is 4K if that matter.

Thanks!

When to buy an alt account?

I’m thinking of getting a second account for my wife to play to assist me with mining and other ventures. When is the best time to do that to utilize the referral codes.

The atls deal got me thinking about this again. Are there other/better times to do this?

Need advice on a new PC - Currently have two older systems and looking for options`

I recently upgraded to a new PC that runs my games perfectly. However I am also a degenerate that likes to play at my office while I work. I have a gaming laptop i've been using but it just isn't preforming that well and I'm considering upgrading my office setup as well.

I have my old desktop that is just sitting in the corner sadly watching me not play it.

Should I try to sell these two systems? Part them out and sell them? Should I try to change components of my desktop?

Mosty playing Star Citizen.

Here are the two systems in question:

Laptop Asus ROG STRIX 15 (2022)

AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX Octa Core Processor

15.6" QHD 165Hz IPS Screen

32GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM

Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 16GB Graphics

\-------------------------------------------------------------

Desktop NZXT Build (2020):

Intel Core i7-9700K 8-Core 3.6 GHz

G. Skill Trident Z Royal RGB 16GB 3600MHz

Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 16GB
