Beyond Netero’s legal red herring (spoilers 412)

Like many readers I struggled to parse the true meaning behind those last couple of pages of 412. Was this a typical Togashi tangent to trace out more world building? I mean surely it must have plot relevance, this is such an important character. Why would he paint Beyond as some sort of humanitarian, when we have so much evidence of depravity? He seems to regard human life as expendable and worthless, at least for his own children. Overall it’s pretty out of left field and we just probably won’t have the context to really parse out what’s going on until many chapters later.

Here’s my theory: the distinction about legal rights for people vs the royalty is the red herring. Who is the most important non-royal member of the Kakin public that would be affected by this? That’s right, it’s BEYOND NETERO himself! I think he’s trying to prepare for some situation where he’s in a legal battle against a prince or a member of Kakinease royalty. This could be related to some sort of custody or succession issue with his secret prince of a child.

Everybody thought Kurapika was lying (spoilers 412)

I saw so many community comments and content creators saying Kurapika must have been lying with his reveal and 411. Now that we’ve heard the whole story it makes perfect sense to me. It feels like maybe we’re a little stuck in our theorizing ruts and not prepared to receive new information?

Personally I didn’t think Kura could have lied because such a lie would be subject to way too much scrutiny and disbelief from the other prince’s guards. It would be too obvious a gambit. But I just think it’s interesting how certain so many people were that he had to be lying, what do you think now that we’ve gotten the full context?

(Spoilers 411) What if Woble doesn’t have a…

>!..nen beast because she IS the nen beast?!<

There’s been much discussion about the bombshell from the end of the latest chapter. Is Kurapika telling the truth? Is Woble really a child of Nasubi Hui Guo Rou? Was there a baby swap?

One thing that sticks about Woble is that she’s the only ”prince” whose nen beast we haven’t seen. That would align with the idea that she isn’t truly a participant in the succession contest. But that leaves one big question: Why does Woble give off a sinister aura?

My theory: Woble doesn’t have a nen beast because she IS a nen beast.

  1. We already have a lot of precedence for a nen beast taking the form of a human with Kacho. That example also shows a participant in the crisis, Fugetsu, unable to distinguish between her nen beast and a family member.
  2. We’ve never seen Woble prior to the start of the contest when she appears with Oito.
  3. This explains why Oito would have the kind of existential angst worried expression she ended the last chapter on.

What do you think? Obv there’d to be some wild nen beast mass psychosis stuff with the Woble nen beast to make this make sense to everyone, and I’m not clear on what this would make Oito.

Please help me find dosing information for my doctor

My family doc isn’t super comfortable handling my hrt but I’m trying to avoid dealing with referral to an endo. I‘m just trying to find some reliable sources for dosing because I want to switch from oral to injectables (I take 6mg oral every day). I was only able to find sources for DIY but I need something that’ll be deemed legit for medical providers, could someone help me out please?

Should I switch off orals to help with hypermobility

I’m disabled with hEDS which got really bad when I started on hormones. I’ve been on HRT for like 5 years with 6mg estradiol every day. I’ve tried so much PT and I’m pretty desperate to try and improve my physical situation so I need to try a different delivery mechanism to see if it helps.

Any ideas? Should I try injections

Think I might have made a mistake getting the ZSA voyager...

I have a lot of joint issues and chronic pain so I was looking for a good solution for those problems. I loved the look and portability of the Voyager and mostly prioritized ergonomic comfort, but I don't think I thought enough about the differing layout... I work in vim+tmux and I have a lot of in-built muscle memory with all the different combinations and shortcuts I use.

I feel bad about eating the cost for a return shipping, should I try to persevere and get used to it? My fave keyboard I ever used was Goldtouch Go!2 but they're very low quality and break easily. I wish I could get a split keyboard with a more normal layout, but even the other Zsa offerings seem to remap the backspace/enter buttons and etc.
