Been toying with the idea of swapping a b230ft + wcT5 in place of my tired 150hp (36 years ago) 3.slow v6. Always admired these Volvo engines for their reliability and simplicity🤙. I’m imagining everything with fabbing up mounts, wiring, ect that it’d be a very big pain in the ass. So I’m basically curious what you guys think. Shit idea or absolute cinema?

I imagine I would have to move to a standalone ecu and a max speeding turbo to make a significant power increase over stock, but none of that matters if the Volvo guys think it’d be silly right guys!😅

Considering trading my little pickup for this project but want to know if you guys think it’d be worth the time/if you think it’s a lemon. 150k on it the ad says, engine mileage unknown.

Looking to buy this 1uz and wondering if you guys think she sounds healthy. I think besides the power steering pump being loud it sounds pretty healthy. Whatcha guys think?

Just got 476km out of 47 litres of fuel believe it or not, that’s like 25mpg or something? This gas mileage does not make any sense to me whatsoever🤣

Hard to tell in pictures for sure but it kinda seems like it bends back a little? I dunno I’ve never built a guitar before.

Also Whatchu guys think of my very unprofessional finish and colour whatnot on the body, I think it looks okay ✅

Looking at this 240 later today, I’ve always liked these cars and this one did come up near me. It doesn’t look like it’s in awful shape, but it definitely looks like I’d need to be patching some holes in this car.

I might have to end up selling my pickup cause I wouldn’t need 2 summer cars. So I’m curious if these cars are worth it. Price is in CAD by the way
