I’m currently doing ba programme from DU (major is ofc psych). I planned to do the 4th year and then give the clinical psych paper. But, all i see is the high competition, low seats and people buying seats at private colleges etc. Hence, i’m contemplating to whether even invest my time studying so hard only to end up experiencing all this.

Can someone actually advise me? I’ll be starting my 2nd year in august. Should i shift to being just a therapist/counselling psychologist rather than a clinical psychologist? Also, how many seats are there in NIMHANS for clinical psych as its the apex and the most transparent institute among all the others.

What is its value? and are people really looking for it?
