I keep getting randomly logged out of reddit android app

Android 16. App up-to-date. Been happening for the last month or so.

Annoying because my password isn't something that can be remembered. I can also get logged back in if I click on a reddit email notification.

This happening to anyone else?

Broken password reset process

Free personal account

For whatever reason, password doesn't work as of today. Checked, rechecked then checked again. I'm entering it correctly...

Clicked forgot password, got a code in my email. Entered code into site and it fails saying it doesn't recognize the browser. At some point, I cleared cookies, cache and site data during troubleshooting process.

I've tried different browsers, same result. What is the point of sending a code to my email to reset my password if it needs to see evidence in the browser that I've logged in with it before?? What if my PC becomes unusable and I have to login from a new PC?

As of now, I'm locked out from too many attempts. How long does that remain in effect?

I did not generate any backup codes during account setup. That's on me.

Is there any solution to this?

Edit: Already read this guide and its info is not helpful to my current situation.

The new Voicemail dialog is maddening!

The slow speaking bot is bad enough, but do they really have to recite the caller's phone number before letting you hear the message? It wastes so much of your time getting through VMs.

This is my first world problem rant for today 😆

I delete mail. Mail comes back?

I downloaded all my mail to local folders in Thunderbird and deleted it from Gmail. After deletion, it all comes back under All Mail. Tried deleting from Thunderbird and directly from Gmail website.

What the heck is happening here?

Drive client problems

Just hooked up my new 225+ installed Drive Client, set up a backup job and now I may have lost data! This morning I had 71GB free on my C drive and after running a backup job, I have 81GB free?? The logs aren't showing anything other than some files that weren't synced, which is another problem because they were just some .jpgs.

I can't say for sure if Drive client deleted files during the backup job or not and I've got too many to go manually go through and see. I set it as a backup not sync.

What good is this software if I can't trust it?

*** Here's is what seems to be in common with the files that won't sync***

After right clicking on the file and checking its properties, they all had this:

Unblocking the file still doesn't resolve the problem though.

Dell Optiplex 7020 SFF. Win11 Pro, 32GB Ram, 256GB NVME. About a year old.

Tried to update the BIOS using dell Command update and it crashes/restarts almost immediately once installation starts. Downloaded BIOS from Dell and it does the same thing shortly after execution.

Some googling suggested it was due to the NVME storage set to RAID instead of AHCI. Checked BIOS and sure enough, it was set to RAID. Changed to AHCI but the PC refuses to boot "inaccessible boot device" I think was the error. Tried going into safe mode, as I read it would load the AHCI driver. No luck there either.

Has anyone else ran into this recently?

Just asking cause I'm curious. Seems that if you're using a free MS account and it gets stolen, you're done for. You report, you're asked to provide some details and you then get an acknowledgement that you're account security info was changed, and per policy, the account is then locked and lost to you. If you bought stuff on the account....sorry.

So what about people that subscribe to office365 or additional OneDrive storage with their MS account? Has anyone had their account stolen as a paying customer and successfully reclaimed it through Microsoft support? A credit card payment history, along with details about the account *should* be proof enough that you're the true owner.

Anyone care to share their experience?
