They claim to be the first private architecture & design college in Kerala, 15 years in the field. Idk about architecture. But they started design department just for MONEY!

Joined their B.des programme with a lot of dreams. The college administrators act very helpful and nice during the admission process. But once we are in, they change colours, giving a competition for chameleons. Such fake and hypocrite people. If you are from a financial well off or reputed family, you get the attention and fair treatment. Otherwise, nobody cares. Even most of the students are from NRI or well off families.

And coming to the design department. The main authorities of the college do not have a clue about design. And most of the teachers in design dept are primarily Architects. And there aren't enough teachers as per the student ratio. Most of them aren't experienced enough and give bad/confusing reviews. The dept as a whole is very good at hiding their insufficiency by putting the blame on the students. Only the students with prior exposure and design background will be able to perform well there. And they give attention to such students. All others who are beginners and who have limited exposure and contacts in the field struggle a lot after graduation.

Plus the trauma that place give. Most of the people there, the authorities and the teachers are fake. The first impression will be really great. But with time, we get to know the inside politics and how they treat their students with bias. There were lot of complaints raised by us including the inefficiency and unfair treatment by teachers. The authorities listen to us and assure us about solving it. But plays double game by taking the side of the faculties as well. And the faculties who are genuinely invested gets fed up with the department politics, either leave the college or try to blend in with these unempathetic manipulators.

If anyone is planning to join for B.des there. Please don't. The total 4 years fees will be approximately 10_12 lakhs (including hostel fees) plus the expense of materials and devices required through out the course.

ITS NOT AT ALL WORTH IT. Please don't be trapped by their so called reputation and advertisements. They know how to manipulate and milk people very well!
