I had previously posted the three musketteers and received a lot of appreciation. Here is my take at a 2 watch collection -

#1 Versatile go anywhere do anything with the Rolex Explorer 2 - This is the previous generation 216570 with the Ghost Hands which imo are closer to the original. It also has a 21mm bracelet with a bit of taper that works perfectly for this watch. This is a true luxury sports watch with a fully brushed finish but also has enough shine from the 904L steel and the white gold indices and hands! Truly a top contender for a GADA except for the dressiest occasions

#2 Lange 1815 - just oozes class and perfection in every way. The dial is just beautifully classic and pays homage to the pocket watches of the older generations. The blue hands and the painted arabic numerals are just perfection.

This is my take on a very modern 3 watch collection...

All 3 have these in common

- Beautiful movements - 2 automatic and one manual with a sapphire display caseback

- minimum 50m water resistance

- Swiss powerhouse brands

White Speedmaster- In my humble opinion this is one of the best sports watches ever made, it has a useful complication, rich history with a very modern interpretation of the original speedmaster design. It looks fantastic in any situation

JLC MUT White Gold- Endgame dress watch for me. Beautiful, elegant and versatile with a good presence and a nice heft due to the white gold. The grey dial sun burst execution is one of the best I have ever seen

Zenith Pilot- The only watch that can have "Pilot" as its name (not derivations like pro pilot). Bold Arabic applied numerals filled with lume. High beat 36000 vph El Primero movement (similar to.the one used in their chronos!). It has 100m water resistance and the perfect pilot/ GADA watch
