Need camera recommendations for a beginner

Hello! I’ve mostly been taking photos on my phone so far, and I’d like to get a camera to start learning the basics. I’m not looking for anything too expensive—just a good beginner camera to help me get started.

The issue is that a lot of the information I find online isn’t really relevant to the Pakistani market. A lot of older cameras that might be quite cheap second-hand elsewhere are being sold here for almost full price.

I was considering either a digicam or something that would allow me to use basic/interchangeable lenses as I learn more.

I’d really appreciate recommendations for where I could buy one in Pakistan, whether that’s a physical shop or a trustworthy online page. My ideal budget would be around PKR 15–20k.

Any recommendations or advice on what to look for would be greatly appreciated!

Need advice on how to deal with emotions

Hello I (25F) got engaged to my fiance (27M) last year. For context about our relationship: We had only met twice before getting engaged since his family was not comfortable with us talking further without an engagement. This wasn't ideal for me but my family had met so many other families and they really liked them and encouraged me to do so and told me if I didn't like him I could break it off (I wasn't comfortable with this but ended up agreeing).

He went abroad right after our engagement (he was here for 9 days) and we started texting and eventually he opened up to voice calls. There aren't any red flags and he's a great guy and very patient but around December last year I was not feeling much of a connection so I let my mother know and she said that it might be the long distance that is making it so and that he would be back next month and I could decide after meeting him.

That got delayed but he ended up coming in April and we got to meet a couple of times. Before he went back in May.

Now onto what is bothering me. I think our communication is good whenever something bothers us we let the other know (mostly me). He's always patient and apologizes and says it won't happen again but the thing is that that's not the case. He repeats it over and over again and every time I let him know that I don't like that. For example: he likes to order food for me. Initially when he would do it he would do it randomly and whatever he felt like ordering. I would appreciate it but I started hinting what I actually liked, them went to telling him what I wanted and then when I had had enough I would just get really angry and ask him to atleast ask me what/if I want food. He would always agree and say next time and then he would repeat it. It's gotten to the point where everytime he orders I end up fighting and hating the gesture because it's often when I don't need it, don't want to eat it and way too much. I live with my grandparents and they don't like me ordering out so it's also a pain when things are coming in like this. All of this is communicated and he doesn't bother asking. It got to the point where he said that he would stop ordering food for me (still wont ask me what I want). 2 months pass and he doesn't order and i feel better about this and ignore everything. Until a few weeks ago he doesn't again and loose it asking him to cancel it and asking why can't he be bothered to ask me before placing the order and he does it again where he apologizes and says it won't happen again. Now this happens in multiple things and now it's bothering me and I am starting to resent him.

I try to be understanding (it's also his first relationship and he's transitioning into a new country and trying to find a job etc) and I try to appreciate the fact that atleast hes doing something but I can't get over the fact that he puts no thought into things when it comes to me. I am someone who always goes the extra mile when it comes to gestures and instigating things and I don't expect him to match me but I would like us to solve one thing. Hes affectionate with his words but when it comes to doing things he doesn't do anything. We have talked about this and he says he doesn't know why he's like this when he clearly puts in effort for things he likes a lot but my minor requests are where nothing happens.

I try not fixate on these things but it's getting harder and harder and I am starting to resent him. Need advice on how to navigate these things.

Need advice on furthering career and what options I have

Hello! So I did my undergrad in Industrial design. I loved the degree but in my country we don't have much of an industry and there aren't a lot of jobs. I ended up shifting my focus to UI/UX in my final year (did freelancing and am currently working at a company for over a year).

Although I enjoy UI/UX I am starting to feel like I need to broaden my scope and work towards something more specialized.

I am either considering masters or a course I could do abroad since my home country doesn't have as many options. I need a starting point on what fields/courses/majors I can look into since I have no idea where to start and there is so much stuff that constantly evolving on a day by day basis.

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated since I am feeling pretty lost. Thank you

Am I being unrealistic. Need advice on best course of action

I (25F) got engaged to my fiancé (27M) last June after only meeting him twice. I wasn’t fully comfortable getting engaged so quickly, but both families felt it was the right step and he seemed like a good person.

Right after the engagement, he moved to the UK to look for a job after finishing his master’s. The plan was that he’d find something within a few months and we’d get married in December. We stayed in touch through calls and texts, and overall I still felt he was a good match.

But December came and he still hadn’t found a job. He kept delaying his return home, saying he wanted to try a little longer. By March, when I pushed for clarity, he admitted he still wanted to do other things first like getting his license and travelling around Europe more.

He finally came back in April, and my father arranged a good job for him here starting in June. But last week he got a temporary UK job contract for 1 year and 4 months and decided to take it. I told him I’d support his decision, but when I asked what this meant for our marriage plans, he said he hadn’t thought about it yet and that we should “see what the elders say.”

That really bothered me. He agreed to this rishta willingly, but it feels like none of the decisions he has been making has marriage in mind. I’ve put parts of my life on hold to avoid delaying things further, while he seems to just go with the flow without seriously thinking about our future together.

I know marriage is a priority for him but I really don't want to do LDR after getting married and would rather have a longer engagement. I have other things that I feel unsatisfied with in this relationship and this feels like the last straw that is pushing me to end it. I want to make things work but at the same time I feel like none of this is going anywhere.

Need advice on how to deal with all of this please.

My parents bought gold for my coming wedding recently that exceeds the Nisab. With Eid coming soon I am unsure if I am eligible since one lunar year hasn't passed since ownership.

In addition, if I were to take part in it I am a bit confused on how the distribution of shares work. I have seen people sharing the cost of a goat and my mother has suggested that for me since I cannot afford the cost of an entire goat. But from what I am seeing online a goat is only equal to one person's share.

Can someone please provide guidance and resources that I can look into to get more clarity please.

Found a lost cat. She has been in the same spot for the last few days. Isn't aggressive and seems like a house cat. We have taken her to a vet to get her checked out. Thought I would post here as well

I have never really taken care of my skin. I used to use medicated sunscreen when I went out but that's it.

I recently got a cleanser by Vince and a vitamin C serum that I started using regularly and I see a slight improvement. I also got the beauty of Joseon eye cream but I am also out of it so any alternatives for thay would be great.

I want to improve my skin care routine but most of the products I see online are very expensive or not available here easily.

I want to add a peptide serum for anti aging. Better recommendations for cleansers would be great too. I have slight acne scars on one side of my face that I want to get rid of so anything for that would be appreciated. If there is a site or a page that sells products that would also be great.
