Hi , I've been looking into AI subscriptions recently and noticed something that doesn't make sense to me financially.
Both ChatGPT Plus and Perplexity Pro cost the exact same ($20/month). However, with Perplexity Pro, you aren't locked into just one model. You can literally switch between OpenAI’s GPT-5.6, Anthropic’s Claude Sonnet, Google’s Gemini, and even Grok. On top of that, Perplexity is arguably a much better search and research tool that cites its sources.
If you can get ChatGPT's engine plus all the other top-tier models for the same price, why do so many people still stick with ChatGPT Plus?
What are the actual, practical differences or limitations of using GPT-4o inside Perplexity versus using it directly on OpenAI's platform? Is it a matter of message limits, advanced features, or just brand loyalty?

Hi ,27M, I’ve been experiencing hematospermia for about three weeks. On the first day, I went to the doctor, who ordered a urine culture and blood tests. The urine culture came back clear, my PSA level was normal, and there were no signs of inflammation in my blood (low CRP and WBC levels). Despite this, the doctor prescribed an antibiotic containing sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim.

During this period, I was sexually active roughly once every 3–4 days. After finishing the antibiotics, for the first time my semen was brown rather than bright red, and the amount of blood seemed to decrease to around 20%. However, during the third week, it became bright red again. After my semen turned brown, I started having sexual activity every day because I thought the condition had resolved. Now I seem to be back to how I was during the first week.

What do you think could be causing this, and what should I do next? Also, if someone has experienced hematospermia once, are they more likely to experience it again in the future?

I've had symptoms of hematospermia for about 5 days and have no other symptoms (fever, pain). I went to the doctor and he did urine and blood tests. There's a very small amount of blood in my urine. There's no inflammation in my blood or urine and PSA is okay. How many days will it take to clear up and what will the doctor's next step be? Each new ejaculation produces bright red semen btw.
