Told my husband I could easily eat 30 wings in one sitting

Ended up getting full after 9 wings.
My ego is bruised. I feel pathetic.
Of course I took the leftovers home.
Anyway, they were yummy. Next time I order 10 :3

Honey chipotle, garlic parm and lemon pepper wings.

Approved: PD March 11th 2025

Consular standalone case, USC filing for South Korean spouse. Filed last march, waited patiently like everyone else. The infamous slowdown started. 5 months passed. tired of waiting. Congressman didn’t help, expedite got denied, processing time on USCIS kept getting longer.

Finally sent a demand letter last Saturday (email+physical mail to USCIS chief counsel. Our case was in Texas service center but didn’t bother to send them anything) and got approval letter 4 days later. The physical mail obviously hasn’t got delivered so I assume they read the email version.

Approval letter received and for us, no petitioner interview scheduled. Guess we’re moving to NVC now?

Anyway, this community helped me with writing the demand letter and made me feel less alone while waiting.

Thank you guys and I hope your case also gets approved soon. 🇺🇸

Anyone has tried Korean pickled onions?

It’s a staple side dish for Korean BBQ. It’s so popular that you can buy the pickling sauce from more grocery stores in Korea. Or you can make it at home since it’s really quick and easy. Highly recommend you try it!

PUT YOUR APRON ON😤

  1. Thinly slice an onion (the thinner the better imo) and soak in cold water for about 10min, while you prepare the sauce.

  2. Sauceeee! (This is for 1 small onion btw. Make a bigger batch if you’re planning on drowning in onion mountain which is what I usually do)

Mix these ingredients in a small bowl together:
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of vinegar(or lemon juice)
1 tablespoon of sugar (brown, white.. doesn’t matter)
2 tablespoons of cold water

  1. Drain the onion, remove excess water, then put on a plate. Pour the sauce all over, let it sit for 10-20min if you’re patient enough (optional). It’s called ‘onion pickle’ but I guess it’s closer to salad..

  2. Enjoy!

If you don’t have the right equipment for at home K-BBQ, don’t you worry. Just cook any meat of your choice (pork belly, beef..) on a pan/grill, lightly season with salt and pepper, done. Make sure you eat the meat and onion in one bite. Important!

Alright, that’s all.
Enjoy the rest of your day filled with onions🧅✨

The best way to eat shrimps?

What is your favorite way to cook shrimps?

I see tons of chicken/ground beef recipes online but not enough shrimp recipes. I tried making somewhat healthy shrimp fried rice with minimal oil and failed miserably. Any recipes or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Bonus points if it involves using rice or pasta cuz I loveee them.

I regret my marriage every day

Please don’t tell me to get divorced asap, I really want to but realistically it’s not possible due to my current situation.

I am so. Tired. Of this man. Seriously. If I could go back to 2023 I will strangle my own self to not date him. I don’t know what I saw in him. When I met him I was a desperate pick-me who just broke up with her ex. I was bored and lonely. I believed not being able to find a ‘future husband’ in my 20s meant disappointing my family (I grew up in rather traditional asian household) and risking my future. I didn’t want to be a miserable ‘cat lady’ and now that’s all I want to be. (LOVE my cat to death)

He’s not my type physically. Yes he is tall but that’s really it. He has no personality. He is one of those boring midwestern guy whose entire personality is fishing, beer, and being with the boys. All we talk about is the weather and what we’re gonna have for dinner. I try to talk about other things but he’s either not interested or somehow turns everything to argument. I do not enjoy talking to this man. It’s clear he peaked in high school when he would drink all night with his friends and drink and drive and shit, I don’t even know how this dude has friends because he’s so boring and annoying. Oh and I have to be his MOTHER. I tell him to shave and he complains, remind him to cut his toenails because when we cuddle his wolverine nails scratch my legs, have to tell him to FLUSH the toilet right way, oh my god I can go on and on. He is horrible in bed and has never ever made me finish. It wasn’t as bad when we first met but nowadays he can barely last a minute and he is only in his early 20s.

The only good thing about him is he brings me water when I ask and catches bugs for me.

I moved to a whole different continent to be with him. I left my home, family, friends And my job. I regret everything Ive done to be with this person. I’m only 26 and I am miserable. I miss my old life. Thankfully I am on birth control and don’t have any kids with him. Im just waiting for my chance to get a job again and finally leaving him. Im not sure when exactly. But when I do, I genuinely don’t even want to meet another guy because I don’t trust my judgement with men and I am so fed up.

Sorry this post is messy, I just needed to let it all out.
