I went to Kilby block party music festival in SLC, Utah over the weekend and saw SO many Baggu baddies. I swear every other person had a Baggu bag! Way more than I see in my home city. Some memorable ones I spotted and admired from afar included: 🍁 PF small crescent ❤️💙SL reusable 🌼 🍃 lantana mini shoulder 💛 💙 blue & yellow vacation stripe reusable 🍐👀 the anthropomorphic pear diva on the painted prairie medium crescent & 🍆 hello kitty icons glasses sleeve I spotted in someone’s clear bag! 

I had to use a clear backpack, but that meant you could see my cute pouches that were kinda coordinated 🤭 I used my gingham hearts zip to make the backpack look cuter and less cluttered. On a practical note for festivals, I loved wearing my mushroom bottle sling for easy water access, and I was so glad to have my big reusable to sit on it and not be directly on dirt!

Totally a weekend for the books - I also got to go to a show at Kilby Court, and I have to say Salt Lake City is easily one of the BEST concert crowds I’ve ever experienced. So glad to have been in this crowd for Turnstile, Hayley Williams, and Lorde! Also SORRY for anyone who caught me trying to post this over the weekend and failed a few times - the festival and then airport wifi was NOT cutting it 😪. Anyways, I'm back home and am reminiscing fondly. Shoutout to any other kilby baggu baddies in this group here!!

Has Baggu ever done a darker charcoal grey? I feel like a loaf would EAT in that color. The closest we've gotten is probably the washed denim bags, right?

Also, a dove grey loaf sounds real enticing... 🤤

Maybe I'll just email this to Baggu, just for fun. It's the same energy as like, sliding a $20 bill across the table lol.

Perfumerism/Emma recently did a video reviewing combos, and she reacted to the combo of her perfume Commodity Milk Orchid + Kayali Freedom Musk Matcha that it "smells like I have my shit together." It's funny because I actually do wear Freedom Musk Matcha on days when I want to feel especially like a professional lady, if that makes sense.

I tried the layering combo today and it's pretty good. I think the matcha can get a bit lost in the concoction of the Kayali one, but the combo helps bring out that earthy base mixed with the warm oatmilk, which then beautifully contrasts yet synergizes with the sweet florals dipped in milk from Milk Orchid. I just turned 30 and this scent smells like being in my 30s, does anyone get what I'm saying?

What do you wear on days where you want to look and feel very put-together?

The way my Baggu package arrived in the middle of me doing laundry. Immediately put to use to gather my clothes from the dryer! 🧺 So easy to carry between the communal laundry room & my apartment - It’s my first big reusable and I already LOVE.

I paired the acquisitions with some things already in my collection - the tortoise pouch goes perfectly with my seaweed sling, just as I pictured 🤌🏽 I was trying to resist keeping another small go pouch but the pairing is so good.

The penguin charm is pretty impractical but… he’s so important to me. 🐧

And the side-eyeing dolphins are hilarious to me. I wasn’t sure if I’d keep it but it’s so satisfying with the fuchsia cherries items 😩 🍒 🐬

Hope the penguins dont distract too much and this still shows the color difference! 🐧

Steel blue has more purple, closer to periwinkle. Piscine IRL is definitely more of a chlorine pool blue.

I was super excited to get my sage stripe loaf, and it looks perfect when sitting on a surface (see pic 1). But I was struggling with how wrinkled it was getting when held up… (see pic 2). I think it’s in part because I dont tend to fill my bag to the brim.

I have the loaf in solid color and the wrinkles dont bother me as much - something with the stripe pattern emphasizes the deformed shape in a weird way to me.

I figured out that a Dopp kit fits well inside the loaf bag. The key is to place a standard reusable upright (see pic 3) to prevent the loaf bag from sagging in the middle.

Then, the loaf looks alot better! See pic 4, which has the same amount of stuff as pic 2 other than the addition of the Dopp kit.

Hope this helps someone else out who doesn’t love when the loaf becomes a fortune cookie 🥠 (see pic 5 for egregious folding when there’s barely anything inside the bag). I’ll definitely opt for my small crescent or mini shoulder for my super light carry days.

Tbh I really dislike the regular meringue bag, especially how it looks from the front. It looks like I have a towel hung on my shoulder…

The small one looks okay from the side, but idk how I feel about how it looks in the front? So thick!! Thoughts?

I also added a few pics of meringue in blurred gingham & coffee, as well as a comparison between small meringue vs mini shoulder. For reference, I’m 5’4.

The name hits it on the head - So nourishing, soft, uncomplicated & comforting. I didn’t know if I liked it at first but I really do. This is just solidifying how much I loooove coconut (nutty and milky ones, not SPF scents). 🥥 🥛

I just checked Method’s website and they have so many more products in this Simply Nourishing scent, like a lotion - Has anybody tried them?

I really enjoy the nozzle on this body wash as I always prioritize the ones that come in a press nozzle, rather than squeeze bottle. But I just saw on their website that they do bar soap too, which I may try to see if it’s as good and then I can buy less plastic.

First question - Do you think Sage Stripe looks better in ECB or Standard Tote? To me they both look so good, gah!

Second question - Do you prefer using ECB or Standard Tote? Do you use them for different purposes?

Third question - Does anyone use either of these as a beach bag? Should I be concerned about greasy sunblock stains?

I only recently acquired my first Standard Tote, so it's still new to my collection and I wanted to hear what the people thought who have owned both ECB and Standard Tote for longer.

So I’m wearing my small sling today and was tying the super long strap (into a cute bow!! See pic 3). Then I remembered that recent post/video/discussion about the size inclusivity for the meringue bags and realized there’s similarities to between the two bags. 🤔

When comparing the meringue and sling bag, there are similar design elements in the round scoop of the straps into the bag. I wonder if the meringue bag is the evolution from their sling bag design?

It’s a bummer that sling bags are getting discontinued since sling bags have great long straps. And I actually prefer the sling bag strap design compared to the shoulder bag straps because it’s narrower and more sleek when sitting on the shoulder.

I dont think sling bags took off because they just photograph strangely, but it’s way cuter in person. Baggu sales rely fully on how bags look in pictures and videos since the majority of people buy based on what they see online and don’t get to try on in-person.

Anyways, just sharing some food for thought as we begin evaluating how we like the meringue bag! 💭

I am looking for a Peaches n Cream fragrance! I looked up some past posts, but I wanted to ask now since there may be newer fragrances.

I’m looking for something like Nest Creme de Clementine but peaches. I prefer not needing to layer, but if you have a layering combo I’d be happy to hear too.

Preference for scents I could test in-store, but am open to hearing indie recommendations too!

A baddie suggested that, when buying the same colorway, it helps to get different sizes.

I was overwhelmed by the style options, so I organized and grouped by size. I also flipped images so the model is positioned the same direction and it's easier to compare how they look.

Hope this helps other folks whose analytical brain needs to evaluate all the options when choosing!

I still don't really know which I'm picking, so would love to hear what other people are choosing.
