NZ Pachanoi graft stock

I just pulled all my seed grown NZ Pachanoi to get my keepers separated from the rest. It looks like i have a lot of extra graft stock which isn't a bad thing to keep me busy this winter

Self watering bed build

This is how I built my self watering grow bed.

I first want to say i live in the high desert of southern ca. I was in co for a week 2 weeks ago and found this thread so I joined to see what you guys had going.

we get temps here from 115*-20s snow happens every other year but dosnt stay more than a day or 2. I do have a greenhouse structure over this to cover during cold winter rainy days but as of now its open and I took shade cloth off last week now everything is established.

It gets full morning sun and full afternooon sun , mid day it has shade from a big tree.

You can build these on the ground but I am tired of bending more than needed so I have 1ft legs on my bed.

The frame is three 2x6 stacked to make the walls. I used 4x8 grow trays from my cannabis days as the bottom . I covered each bed with 8x12 pondliner then used 4inch coragated pipe with pumice between each pipe to make the water table then cover it with weed fabric so the soil doesnt access the water table.

The bottom layer is a 60% pumice 40% compost mix and top 4 inch layer is just pumice.

I mixed fox farm ocean forrest with a locan nursery compost and added bone meal, blood meal , gypsum , azomite ,

I feed compost teas I make with alaskaim fish fertilizer, alaskain bloom , worm castings and I put a paint strainer bag filled with compost in the water and let it bubble 24 hrs then feed.

I attached pictures from beginning but it only allows 20 si if you want to see more just ask i will post below.

Big crests are not cheap so not going to entertain low ball offers. Ill grow it out my self.

Self watering grow bed for cactus and succulents

I built a self watering grow bed to grow my cactus clones and seedlings as well as other succulents. I planted these April 27 and so far everything is looking great and roots are growing great.

The bed has a 4 inch water rez filled with pumice and corrugated pipe on the bottom of bed separated by weed cloth from the top 40%compost 60%pumice mix the cactus grows in. The top 4 inch of the bed is just pure pumice with no organic matter so the cactus has a dry zone to thrive while tge roots stretch looking for that moisture and feed layer.

If you have any questions plz ask or check through my page and bio for more info.
