Alright so i just got a hps 250w fixture off fb marketplace and i cleabed everything i cleaned tje bulb i blow dested everuthing i cleaned the hood everyrhing was cleaned but weirdly even wbfore the cleaning a gluw gun smell started coming from the hood or choek ballast area mainly at the hood any reasson why?

My geiger tube is a si22bg and it counts fine i only have a gmc 300s to test it on and 8m counting 8 to 10 cpm sometimes higher but i dont have a test source but anyways my tube has this red color on the end cap and this white at the vacuum nib i of course have to clean the tube so dont mind that

Im not sure if this is correctly drawn but i am trying to make a aircraft blackbox and i need a way to create memmory so im using a 2n3904 transistor a 1kohm resistors and a 12vdc supply will this design work?

I picked up this neon sign off the road the rest of it was damaged this was the only thing left was the s and the e, part of the s was dimmed and the entire e is dark i cam see some glow though. also when touching near the electrodes on the glass on those bright spots i get a little corona discharge charge only when im near it though not sure if thats bad.

If i am correct i sported vega and its 2 neighburing stars!

My HPS 70w i made it a homemade fixture it houses the ballast and bulb its made out of steel sheets it was just cheao stuff its all grounded too

I posted about this hps a few days ago it finally arrived and it works great its a 70w hps

I got a 70w hps for 37$ they also have a 150w for those who want it im not advertising but i think i did good

Dont mind the noise my deck is falling apart but it works and im not using this setup again the stick it was on (stupid ass idea) starting burning so i cleaned the bulb with alchohol

Its 750w so i cant power it too easily it will most likely trip my breaker so idk

I cant make schematics for the life of me so heres the entire wiring also if you rebuild it watch out fot gfci outlets and dont run it for more than 1 min at a time it may trip them. It can also light up a plasma ball i find that cool

First is this even a tesla coil? I think its a solid state one but correct me if im wrong. Second if it is one what would be a better design i literly made this up on the spot with no designs or help from anything. It only lights things up when i hold them to it and barley light up flourescent lamps when not held. The thing intself is a nst 3kv 30ma ballast one wire connected to the dr pepper can the other connected to a wire going down into a glass jar thats inside the van abd turned like 3 times and connected to another wire from the ballast. It also sounds like a iron core transformer or a microwave
