Funexpected Math?

Has anyone use this app to teach math? I have used reading.com to help teach reading, and has been way more successful than I thought it would be. But my little is resistant to learning math, so I was hoping to find a similar approach.

We don’t do screens in general, so using them a little bit for learning is novel and exciting lol

If not, this app, is there another one that people are using?

Do I need to tell my mom that we are using her name?

We have decided to give our baby girl my mom’s first name. Do I need to tell her before the baby is born?

We have other children, and their names were private until the birth. However their middle names are honoring deceased family members or their father so it was a different situation.

ETA that we are fortunate to have a great relationship. It’s a pretty unique name

Father’s Day Gift for Dad of Multiples

I am so so pregnant with our twins that I actually forgot Father’s Day is coming up! We are expecting the babies shortly after. They will be #’s 3 and 4 for us.

What are good gift ideas for a son-to-be dad of multiples and dad of 4? I don’t want to get him baby gear, I’d like something for him.

He works a lot, very techy AI stuff and he likes to cook. But who has time for real hobbies 😅

Under 15” depth machine that’s worth having?

We are long time Nespresso users wanting to get a super automatic machine. The issue is our counter depth is 15”, so we need something that will fit.

The Jura models and the DeLonghi Eletta Explore look amazing, but just won’t fit.

We drink coffee and espresso, would like a bean hopper. We drink coffee black so no need for milk drinks (but it’s ok if it has the capability)

No real budget, just looking for the right fit!

Editing to add we are in the US

Editing again - the dimension that’s restricted is from the front of the machine to the back of the machine

8 days from induction and it still doesn’t feel real

Our di di babies will be #’s 3 and 4.

This whole pregnancy has been stressful, nothing like my first two. I’m so big now, I don’t want to leave my house or be seen by anyone. And now that we’re reaching the end, I’m so worried about delivery that it’s tampering my excitement to see the babies.

It doesn’t help that baby B is breech. My provider is comfortable with a breech extraction, so that’s what we’re planning on. But that’s just more to worry about. A C section makes me nervous too.
Most of the time I’m worried about how I’m going to juggle all four kiddos at home.

We are so grateful for this pregnancy and for these babies. And it has truly been mostly uncomplicated which I don’t take for granted. I guess I’m just feeling sad that I’m not more excited when we are so close

When can we travel again?

I know it’s not happening immediately. We are expecting our twins in the next month or so. We will have a 5.5 year old and a 3 year old when they come.

I think that our older two could tolerate an international trip at this point, so I’m tempted to say big trips have to wait at least 3 years? Has anyone been brave enough to do bigger trips earlier than that? How about small weekends away?

Weight gain

Man I am feeling down. 34 weeks with our di di twins and it’s getting hard! I’ve gained about 70 lbs so far. I’m just so big and I hate it.

I started off at a normal BMI and I’m about 5’7”. Babies are growing so well, so I’m scared to change anything. And my doctor is not concerned.

Buttt as someone who has had body image issues in the past, I am so nervous about what I’m going to look like and feel like post partum.

Did anyone else go through a huge weight gain like this? Were you able to get back to pre pregnancy weight? How long did it take?

Leather conditioning for 187?

I am sure I saw this post a while ago, but can’t find it

I have a CC 25 from 187 in caviar. I think I saw people saying they use a leather conditioner to make the leather look…brighter? More authentic?

Please someone clue me in lol

34 weeks with my di di twins and it looks like they are both happy being breech. I want to pick the brains of some C-section mamas here.

I had two vaginal births and I loved them. I had an epidural, but still felt a huge rush of hormones as soon as each baby was pushed out.

What is it like having a baby removed by C-section? Is there a hormone rush? Do you get to see the baby as they’re being born?

This is our last pregnancy, and the pregnancy itself was so much harder than my Singleton ones. Logically, I know that them only important things to get them out safely, but I can’t help but feel a little sad that the birth will be so different.
