I got a new filling yesterday where my dentist identified a crack in my tooth, second from back bottom tooth. I’d had mild, occasional pain while eating for the last year (sometimes just a few times a month, but becoming more frequent).

He redid the filling yesterday, saying he was going to “chase the crack” i think and try to prevent a crown etc. Now the area is still extremely sensitive and I am struggling to eat. Only eating soft foods. If the teeth so much as click, worse pain than before. I am so frustrated. I don’t know if this is normal for a new filling or because there was a crack if there can be more sensitivity and it may go away in a day or two. The filling was 36 hours ago; the dentist office told me to call back tomorrow if it is still bothering me.

I’ve never had this kind of continued sensitivity post filling and I’m so worried. Could it have made it worse?

Hello, my friend tried to buy one $98 ticket on New Jersey transit for a World Cup game. The website timed out because they had bad service, so it did not go through and they tried again. The first message said that the hold had expired when they clicked purchase - it was an error message.

Now, there the are two $98 charges that are both posted, not pending. They only got one receipt for the transaction, showing that one ticket was actually bought, but there are two $98 charges. There is 1 ticket in their account.

Does anyone know the best way to address this? I know they can contest it, but wondering if there is anything else we can do with New Jersey transit. They already emailed but did not get a response yet.
