Wanting to change career at 41.
I’ve been in the casino industry for 16 years and the last few years post covid have been horrible and only getting worst. Casinos are still chasing the money they lost being closed for the covid stint. I finally had my breaking moment and quit. I regret it now since I am 41 with no college degree and not in the best health. Searching for jobs I found various bank jobs and thought that years of watching and tracking money would be useful for working in a bank, the problem is it’s $17 am hour vs $25-$32 I can get at another casino, but the job is killing me physically and mentally. The question I ask is it possible to move up and advance this late in my life with no degree in banking starting as a cashier?

41 Year old former casino worker with no degree.
Back in 2008 family hit hard times and lost the ability to keep going to college for my Marketing Degree, got into the casino business to build funds and ended up loving it and sticking with it. Worked my way from dealer to floor supervisor. After Covid the business really started to change, focused more on customer service then rules and regulations, reduced training for new dealers from 10 weeks to 2 weeks. Job has been very stressful and I finally snapped and quit. I still have a lot of debt, a house and a new car. It made a terrible mistake, but I felt if I remained at that job I would have killed myself. The problem is I got no degree and I don’t know what else to do. I’ve tried applying to some banking teller jobs, I think maybe my years working with money tracking and recording it could help translate to banking.

God I miss Funimation and Rightstuff.
After Covid I’ve really become complicit with streaming and not buying nearly as much anime and manga and haven’t bought barely anything the last couple of years. With the fiasco of 86 it made me think about some series I held off on and hadn’t bought and went to check there availability and I was horrified to see how empty Crunchyrolls store was of Blu Rays and how many series were out of stock or not even listed. I only got the first 2 seasons of My Hero Academia and most of it is out of stock I never thought that would be sold out. I went to buy Fate Grand Order Babylonia finally and it looks like I was to late, I waited to long. And now that Crunchyroll has a monopoly they probably wont bother reprinting most of there series that go out of stock or even bother releasing series on blu rays to begin with.

Messenger stopped work on devices until PC login
Messenger suddenly stopped work on my Iphone and Ipad. I was able to login to Facebook, but messenger woulndt connect or load even after deleting and reinstalling the apps. I havent logged into Facebook on my PC in over a year and after loging in on PC and putting in my Security pin for messenger on my PC all the messenger apps on my other devices started working again. What could have caused this? I see no strange logins.
