Need some help

So i was changing the bulb in my taillights and i accidentally pinched these wires ( for the locking fuel cover) in where the screw goes and pinched them and ever since then I cannot unlock or lock my car doors using either the key fob or the toggle on the inside of the car. All electronic locks are currently disabled. Only the mechanical ways to unlock the car door still work what do I do

So on Sunday I decided to go out take a bunch of pictures and I think I possibly took one of my favorite photos of my r53 yet. I am not exactly the best when it comes to photo angles like these so I was pretty pleased with it

So when I fixed the rest is it possible for me to fill in the area so it's not a lip on the inside of the seam? I just want better drainage to hopefully prevent the rust in future
