Suggestions for fine vegetarian dining?

I love fine dining but I always feel so disappointed with the vegetarian options available in Brisbane. Often the vego options at casual restaurants are better than at fancy restaurants. I find that fine dining restaurants have a tendency to forget that vegetarians also enjoy a nutritionally complete meal (eg cauliflower is not a protein).

So far the best I’ve found is Rogue but looking for alternatives. Deer Duck was average. Dan Arnold was poor. Bacchus varied but is now closed.

I am not vegan.

So, with that said, where can I find delicious vegetarian food in a high end setting, that doesn’t leave me hungry after finishing my meal?

Or should I just stick with the casual restaurants dedicated to vegos and give up on fine dining?

Show me your 2.5ct oval cut solitaires!

So thanks to all the votes I got on my previous post, I finally picked oval rather than elongated cushion.

I ordered a solitaire ring with a 2.6ct oval solitaire and now I’m freaking out I might have gone too big 😬

I had gone into the store thinking I’d get a 2ct but… well… the bling got the better of me.

My finger size is 5 but I’ll check out any photos out there please 🙏 anything in a similar carat range

Which cut looks better on my hands?

Can’t decide between elongated cushion and oval for my upgrade.
Sorry for the poorly manicured hands and the dent left by my current eternity ring in the first pic

How much does the bow tie effect bother you IRL, for those with brilliant cut oval diamonds?

I really like how an oval diamond looks on my finger, moreso than the other cuts I have tried on. However, I can’t help but notice the bow tie effect in all oval diamonds that I have seen so far. I have read that one can find brilliant cut ovals that have less of a bow tie effect (but it’s impossible to eliminate altogether) or alternatively I could go with a crushed ice oval although I don’t like the look of these facets as much.

I have a tendency to overanalyse things so I’m hoping for real life experiences. If you have a brilliant cut oval, do you get used to the bow? Does it annoy you? Any advice for picking an oval with less bow? All of my local jewellers don’t keep local stock of lab diamonds so I’m having to order it from online photos which is less than ideal.

Sorry for the unmanicured fingers.
