Anyone able to get the perfect snow cap in Mt Fuji erasers?
The snow cap does not get revealed by erasing normally. It really depends on what angle you hold the eraser. My pink one looks pretty flat. Green is slightly better.

I am not a professional artist but enjoy coloring. Currently I own Amazon basics, Crayola and Prismacolor Scholar color pencils and I am starting to feel the difference in smoothness and texture as I color.
I am thinking of buying Prismacolor Premier but considering the cost I’d like to pose a question. Is the 48 count pack sufficient or 72 pack a better investment in the long run? Thank you!
I had bought a pack of Reynolds Vibrant Super Dark pencils a couple of years ago but they went unnoticed in my stash and most of them were given away to kids due to the vibrant colors. I just happened to grab one and OMG! The core is so smooth and soft just like a Tombow 2B. Reynolds is the clear winner when compared with ALL varieties of Apsara or Doms. They are so smooth. Why didn’t I discover them earlier??? I wanted to order some more online but seems like they are out of stock everywhere. Where can I buy more of this gem?
I had 2 packages from 2 different sellers. They were both delivered on the same time to some other house in my neighborhood. Unfortunately I was sent a very blurry picture as proof of delivery. No one has returned the packages to me. What are my options other than contacting the sellers? Can I report to UPS?
I had my packages delivered to the wrong house. The picture does not match any of the front door in my neighborhood. Both the packages belong to me and was delivered by the same carrier at the same time. The door mat is especially deceptive since it looks like a winter theme and it’s the middle of summer.
My husband and I live abroad and our parents and siblings are in India. Whenever we visit my inlaws, my husband pays for EVERYTHING for his entitled father (TBH my MIL was a nice person), sisters and their children. I never had any say, never got to choose the venue or restaurants but I silently watched my husband reaching out for his pocket all the time. At the end of our stay, those meals, trips, resort stays and shopping summed up to a substantial amount. It felt like they are the mafia and we are paying extortion money. After we were back I always tried to cut back on my spending to compensate what we had to spend in our trip. Sometimes it gave me anxiety.
After one such trip I was so frustrated I wanted to scream and rebel. When we were back in the US, I bought a few expensive handbags. My husband is extremely generous but he was taken aback. After we walked out of the store he asked me why I bought so many all at once. I told him that he spends so much on his family I just spent the same amount on myself. I explained to him that we are the ones working hard and if others can enjoy our money, we should do the same. I told him it’s time that I did some justice to myself. My MIL was a really sweet person. She was mostly sickly, was soft spoken and kind and I was genuinely sad when she passed away. On the other hand, when my FIL passed away a couple of years ago, I felt relief. I felt liberated. I was there with my husband for all the rituals, but I just didn’t feel sad. My parents never want anything from us, my father always tells me that we should save because we are all by ourselves in a different country but on the other hand my FIL always asked for money. Strangely his demands increased whenever he heard that we got a promotion. At one point I told my husband not to disclose career success or salary to him because his demands were based on what we make not what he actually needs. When I was in India for my FIL’s rituals, I ordered some nice pashmina shawls and stationery to celebrate his passing. I never realized his existence caused so much mental pressure until he was gone.
My husband and I have been together for over 25 year (married for 20). We grew up in a tier 2 city in India, studied hard, fulfilled our dreams and have settled overseas. Our parents and siblings are in India so we don’t meet them that often.
My husband has 2 sisters. They are 9, and 5 years older than him (let’s name them B &C). My husband supported his parents financially when they they were alive.
My FIL passed away recently. It came to my knowledge that my 2 SILs have claimed my FIL’s bank accounts. There was no will. They have also divided my MILs jewelry amongst themselves without consulting with us. I feel betrayed because we were left in the dark and it also feels unethical. They plan outings and day trips when we are in India with the assumption that we will pick up the tab. It’s also customary that my husband take my SIL and their children for shopping and I have noticed they always pick multiple expensive outfits. It’s not the cost but their attitude that makes me queasy.
My SILs have a tendency to disrespect me. We don’t meet that often, but in the past B has yelled at me, turned off the lights in the living room where I was sitting, and called me messy when I merely had my suitcase open on the floor as I was taking out my clothes. Since B is not married her rude behavior is always excused.
C is sarcastic and micro scrutinizes me. She has criticized my looks and makes annoying statements like “your brows look unsymmetrical” or “ you look so fat, you have gained a lot of weight”. I can’t recall anything positive from her, ever. For context, I am fairly attractive and have average Indian body type. On the other hand she is morbidly obese. What’s more disturbing is that they behave differently only with me. Their attitude towards my husband is very loving. I have limited my stay at my in-laws but they still manage to misbehave in those limited hours. My problem is that I have always been quiet in the past because since we only visit for a few days I don’t want any drama.
However after 2 decades of marriage I don’t want to take it anymore. I want to stand up for myself and respond appropriately. I need advice for the snarky comments and rude behavior. What should I say or do to stop them? My husband agrees it’s wrong but he tends to forgive them.
I ordered 2 boxes of the newly released seconds color pencils because curiosity was killing me!! I received 16 different colors in the mix, some colors were very sparse and i saw only one or two. I was hoping for some scented or highlighter pencils but there were none. I saw many “Stranger Things” and “Color Pop -Demon hunter (?)” themed ones. I was able to make 2 sets of each using a couple from other themes and using some unnamed colors. I also found some Beatles (wish there were more), Gilmore Girls and Schitt’x Creek. After sorting them out I ended up with half a box of copper!!! The color payoff is good (student grade). Core is thick and soft so they do tend to break. Shipping was steep, around $14! Now I am not sure what to do with them all!! I am not an artist by any means😆!!
These pencils are neat! They come in a tin box comprising of 9 pencils, a sharpenable eraser with a brush tip, a sharpener and a pencil cap. As expected, writes smooth as butter. Very comparable to the green Tombow 2Bs. I bought them from Amazon India during my recent trip. All for INR 125 (around $1.3 USD). My only regret is that I didn’t buy more. Such as easy and universal gift.
My uncle passed away last week and I feel so devastated. He loved us unconditionally. I miss him so much. He had been intermittently sick the past year but I did not expect him to leave so soon. I feel guilty that I was not there for him. There are so many memories and he was such a genuine person. I love him more than I love my parents. I didn’t get to say goodbye. I want to connect with him so bad just to tell him how much I love him and how lucky I was to be loved by him. Does he have any message for me? Is he okay? Please tell him that I love him very much.
Indian born, now a US ctizen. I don’t have any bank accounts in India. I may have some joint accounts with my parents but I need to open my own NRI account. Based on your experience, which bank has the best customer service ( ICICI, IDBI, PNB). Any recommendations? What documents are usually required other than passport and OCI card? I am traveling to my home city so I will be physically present.
So this is my final haul from the conference. I have a good assortment of pens stickers and more pad. Science stickers are hard to find and I am so happy I could grab some!
My childhood erasers from India. There was a company called Mr Clean which made recall cool erasers.
Bought the earlier versions of Plus Mt Fujj erasers. Only the orange one is made in Japan. Pink, light pink and yellows are made in China. The dimensions are identical and all of them have the arch sleeve. Does anyone have the yellow, pink or light pink version that’s made in Japan or were these exclusively manufactured in China?
