Returning old device via UPS

I upgraded on Friday in store and was told to take both phones home while the data transferred. I asked about the old device and they said "mail it back". I chatted with a customer service rep on Tlife and they just now emailed me a return label. I guess it's up to me to buy a box and packing material. I've dealt with UPS for Amazon returns and stuff so I'm familiar. But I used to ship electronics for my job. They didn't provide me with the hazard label for the lithium ion battery?

How was yalls experience shipping it back?

Why couldn't the store just take it?

Internalized BPD?

I was diagnosed with BPD, PTSD, Anxiety and Depression via a proper psych eval. I had suspected it for a while due to my mom, sister, an ex, and possibly one of my friends all having it. I could see some of their traits in myself.

But I don't feel like I've ever really done the push/pull thing. I've actually been single the past 8 years. I don't have any friends because the ones I make are usually coworkers and that dies off after you find a different job.

People frequently tell me I'm too shy or quiet or reserved. And how easygoing I am.

But in the inside I feel either extremely pissed off or suicidal. I've attempted probably 5 times in my life and first had the ideation at age 8. Its always been impulsive like the few times I've been laid of or maybe I've had a financial setback or something.

But the few people I've told were really surprised.

Is it possible, do you think, to be more internal with it rather than the stereotypical portrayal?

Schnitzel

Gonna be showing my German side here lol but does anyone know any restaurant in or around GB that has Schnitzel (preferably with the cabbage and German potato salad). NOT Weinerschnitze cuz veal freaks me out. I like the pork one personally. Or maybe Döner too?

Upgrading to S26

I still have the S22+ but software is getting slow, storage is running out, and battery sucks. How's the battery life of the S26? I use Spotify during my work day and most weekends too. It seems to drain my battery fast. How would it compare on the S26? And how's the camera? My sister has iPhone, forgot what model, but the picture quality is pretty impressive compared to my current phone. Tmobile has a deal for a "smartwatch on us" so I was gonna get the Galaxy Watch 8 if anyone has any input on that. I had Watch 3 refurbished but it only lasted about 2yrs before severe battery drain and its basically useless now.

Add existing HBO account to Hulu bundle

I was paying for Hulu and HBO separate. Now added the Disney bundle to Hulu but I see you can add HBO too and that would be about $10 cheaper per month for what I currently pay. But is it a convoluted process to add an existing HBO account to the bundle? I know when I added my existing Netflix to my Tmobile account for the discount it took me forever to figure it out and it was a pain in the ass. I pay for Hulu, Disney, HBO, Netflix, Prime, and YouTube but tryna save some money. Its like we went full circle back to cable lol

How are yall dealing with the technological ineptitude in aging parents? My mother is 56. She is starting to not understand what I consider to be basical technology skills. She's starting a small business on her own. I had to help her set up a laptop. She had new clue how to set up a Gmail account, the Microsoft account for the computer, windows hello pin/fingerprint, nothing at all. She doesn't understand the difference between Edge or Chrome. Keeps asking what each browser icon is or does, if its the correct one. She can barely navigate the file explorer.

I had to help her set up the Microsoft business account and now I'm helping with Squarespace. None of which I've done by the way.

She seems to think I'm a magical tech genius/hacker. It's not that hard to Google issues and use critical thinking skills.

I've also noticed she has trouble following the GPS in her car sometimes. The directions are read aloud, next turn is on the screen, and you follow the blue line. Again, not that hard. But she keeps saying "oh I'm not good at that". Sometimes when she's driving I look over and she's only going 55 to 60mph.

Shes also been saying socially inappropriate things and when I correct her she laughs it off or gets pissed.

My dad doesn't have these issues, neither do her older siblings. My siblings just keep saying she's getting older.

How are yall dealing with similar issues? Its getting quite frustrating and irritating.

I'm sure this has been asked time and time again but is it at all possible to get into Help Desk or any IT career with no degree beyond HS diploma? I was in school for an Associates Degree in software development.

Unfortunately I was laid off and they current job market is hindering me in terms of hours or pay. My local tech school and university do not off asynchronous classes. I completed all my Gen Eds except the required math course. Every single IT related course is required to be in person or over a Teams meeting. There are plenty of evening classes but first shift jobs in my current field do not pay enough to afford school or are hard to find, second and third shift pay well but the schedule doesn't allow for school.

I want to get into IT as I enjoy problem solving and I am my family's in house tech support anyways. Not that I know much beyond Googling an issue and using critical thinking skills.

I know it's been repeatedly asked and I've Googled a ton but just give it to me straight, is it at all possible?

I think I rambled too much....what I'm asking is: I will only ever have a high school degree. College won't be possible, can I still get into IT? If I can, what's recommended?
