Show me your bipolar tattoos

I got this during a hypomanic episode. The skull represents the death I have avoided, and as a whole it represents breaking free from how much bipolar 2 holds me down. Much love y’all!

Stopping meds

I’ve been on some sort of antipsychotic or mood stabilizer since about 2019-2020. A long time. And recently I noticed that when I’m not on my meds,(I moved to night shift recently and have had a lot of trouble remembering to take them with my new sleep schedule) I clean my house like a madman every day, I fold and put away all my laundry, I even separate it all by colors. My libido shoots up like crazy which is nice because the meds really affect that aspect of my life negatively. I wake up early for work and have a meal before I clock in, which I don’t do when I take my meds. I don’t know, I fully understand and recognize that stopping all of my meds would be a mistake, but I can’t get over that I do so much more productive stuff when I’m not on the Abilify. It’s like the med kills my motivation to do anything but go to work. I don’t know man. Tell me it’s a bad idea please.

Attitude

I work in a hospital, not on the medical side. I get dirty looks from nurses and doctors constantly, all day. I worked 24 hours in the last 2 days and I don’t think I can count on 1 hand how many times a nurse/doctor stared me down or just looked straight through me.

My question is, why do nurses and doctors have such poor attitudes and are so rude to people who aren’t a nurse/doctor/lpn/ca or whatever? Y’all are some of the most rude, pretentious people Ive ever encountered. I worked in bars and restaurants for almost 10 years and never had so many negative interactions with random people.

Ground bud opinions

Do yall ever get pre ground bud? Got some for the first time today and it’s not bad at all, still soft and not dry, flavor is still good and gets me where I need to be. And the price was great too. What are yalls thoughts on ground bud?

What is this worth? Is it rare?

I know absolutely nothing about cards, but I’m a Spurs fan (a very disappointed one at that) and came across this one. Is it rare? Is it worth anything? It’s been covered since I’ve had it.

Raids

Anybody wanna run raids on Xbox? I can’t start the snake but I can help run it. Have plenty of lunch boxes, can give you a nuka cola cranberry, and gonna farm for cranberry relish in a minute so I can give you one of those too.

She’s been loving the weather lately.

My new apartment has a back deck, which her and I have never had together so that has been fun too!

My cat saved my life

Just wanted to share something, maybe it’s a bit personal but it’s men’s mental health awareness month and I have a story.

It was December 13th, 2019 late in the evening. I tied a belt around my neck, tied that to a shelf and knelt to the ground. I felt the blood rush to my head, and if you’ve ever passed out or fainted you know that means you’ve got seconds before you’re out. If I went out I was out for good. My cat here, sweet Margo, maybe sensed my pain and as I felt the blood rush to the center of my forehead, she walked up and sat between my knees and looked deep into my eyes. I’ll never forget that look. I immediately stood up and hugged her and began sobbing, obviously regretting what I almost had done to myself, my pets, my family and my friends. My cat, my sweet sweet Margo quite literally saved my life.

If you need help, reach out, dial 988, call a friend. Shoot, give your pet some love, it might help. You’re never alone in this world.

Edit: Thank you guys so much for all of the kind words and support in the comments! Margo, Ash, Nina and I need to go to bed soon so I will try to reply to some of y’all tomorrow throughout the day while I’m at work. I didn’t expect people to be so nice and accepting!

Medical marijuana personal plants

Why can’t we grow personal plants here if we have a medical marijuana card? What specific law is blocking that and will it ever be changed? Our climate here is so amazing for cultivating cannabis. Some of the best weed I’ve had has been grown here in wv.

Favorite strain

What’s your favorite strain from recent memory? I’m not talking from back in the day, I’m talking from like 2020-present. I got some purple stunna around 4/20, and sitting at only just above 19% it’s some of the best weed I’ve had in a long time. The flavor is amazing, it smells great, it smokes like a dream, the buds are big and sticky, and the high is incredible and mellow.

Cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome

Just wanted to share my experience with CHS.

I just turned 28 about 3 weeks ago, and I’ve been smoking pretty heavily since I was about 17. Every day since I was 18, and started using concentrates/edibles every day for a few years shortly after getting a job at 18. Id wake up and dab, (my job was connected to my apartment complex) so I’d leave work and dab. I’d dab again several times before bed. Wake up and do it all over again for years with high concentration edibles thrown in at least once a week.

Started showing symptoms at about 20 years old I think, if I remember correctly. I’d show up to work and just start vomiting and would have to leave.

Luckily I only get symptoms about once a year, and this time it’s been about 2 years since my last episode since I stopped using concentrates/edibles and switched to bud that is about 15%-20% thc. I still smoke every day, but I think I’m going to have to get rid of my like 2-3g’s of kief I’ve collected over the last 2 months :(

Just sharing my experiences, sorry if this is a long read! Much love y’all, stay stoned 💨

Starting night shift soon

Gonna be starting night shift soon. I worked nights for a few years, I’ve been on days for about a year now. Does anybody have any advice or tips to make sleeping easier, or what to do to avoid energy drinks? Or just tips to get adjusted in general. I didn’t do anything special when I worked nights previously so I wanna do it right and make it as comfortable as possible this time around. Thanks y’all!

Dry herb vapes?

Looking into getting a dry herb vaporizer. I’ve had a volcano classic in the past but I think I want to move away from the bags and maybe not spend so much. What suggestions do yall have?
