Marketplace score
Team associated RC-10 looks to be a converted gold pan. Rpm arms, battery mounts and braces, a slew of Hipo (back in the day) brushed motors. Novak reciever, Novak ESC, boxful of spare parts to include 64 pitch spurs and pinions, magnum sport radio and NiCad charger along with discharge resistors. Definately was someone’s racer. Gonna clean er up, throw a 2 cell in there with a lipo alarm and see how she runs……

Gas cap

So I found something to get me by in the meantime…… where there is a will there is a way…..
Those who are gonna say “it needs a vent!” my tank vents thru the bottom with a tube that runs upwards to the top of the tank inside

Old layout

So I just snagged this off of marketplace for practically nothing. Will it still run and work with a few vintage tyco trains? It looks like everything will need rewiring as all the wires seem to be just cut except for the lights. I’m just not 100% sure how all the switches work as I didn’t recieve any of that. I see decouples on the turnouts and It looks to have a couple “turtles” underneath even tho I have no idea what they are controlling. I have 8 boxes of structures and accessories as well……it’s not my first just been a long time since I have owned any…..
Thanks

Gas cap

I lost my gas cap. It was pretty unique as it threaded in then pushed down and 1/4 turn to keep it locked.
I can’t seem to find any thing to replace it. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
It’s a custom tank so I can’t just go and order per make or
Model number…..I was in the process of making a thin beauty ring to go around the opening and lost the cap on the freeway somewhere
Thanks

1981 corvette

So I took my Vette from Dallas/Ft worth to Columbia SC to attend my sons graduation from Army basic training.
1050 miles one way
Here are a couple things I went thru
Alot of rain! Horrible
Mileage….. best I got was 11.1…. I
Kept the A/C off for the most part except when it was raining and the windows were up. Did the trip to
Columbia SC all in one shot. Return trip I split into two days. Driving in that pounding rain is just exhausting especially in a car that sits so low. It was fun tho….. got some pics.
No issue running At 78-79 mph at 2900 rpm. Before she goes on another roadtrip she will be getting the wipers looked at…. And definately an OD trans……was a ton of fun and the car got compliments every gas stop even tho it was filthy ….

Highly recommend

1978 Camaro

Well I’ve put it off long enough. Time to fix this and for good this time. They don’t make this replacement jamb in repop (and if they did it would suck anyways) sourced an original jamb. Got the repair panel cut out and have to go get gas for the MIG….
Here’s progress so far…

Single saddlebag, round fender at and small toolbag. Another toolbag on forks.
