Time to switch to tirz?

I’m on 1.5 mg of compounded semaglutide and it feels like I’m barely getting a benefit anymore. I’m not binge eating but I get really hungry and I’m not getting the appetite suppression I’m used to. I am 40F SW 180 CW 155 Height 5’6” - also just got on HRT for perimenopause and I have PCOS. I have been on maintenance since December and started March 2025.

I’m thinking it’s time to switch suppliers (hers) and meds to tirz? Anyone out there with a similar experience?

CVS now has private pay GLP1?

This is a new offering in NYS. Has anyone gotten meds from CVS? I need to switch/leave HERS.

Order made/paid June 3 - still in “preparing shipment” status - anyone else in the same boat (GLP1 compound)

SW: 176 CW: 155 Height: 5’6 - female. On GLP1 since March 2025 and would like to stay on due to being perimenopausal and I have PCOS.

I’m really nervous about when I’ll receive this product. I escalated the above response and a person gave me the protocol for missing doses, not for an estimate for when I’ll receive the product. This seems like a huge failure on their end. It’s been two weeks with no delivery date in sight. I’d prefer to stay on the compound but this is not evoking any confidence in the company to fill these prescriptions. I saw that Novo nordisk dropped the lawsuit in March but “an agreement was made.”

It seems like HERS is pushing the name brands as a term of the agreement, and they’re more expensive.

Massive rose bush in bloom, rescue pup for scale.

We don’t do anything to maintain this plant. The smell is amazing, and the photos don’t do much justice. There’s so many buds and blooms.

First time with a Pit mix

This is our rescue dog, Nova. She is almost a year old and a mix of Australian shepherd, pit bull, and German shepherd. She is very smart, vocal, stubborn, and cuddly.

Future therapist looking to better understand this community with so much respect and care

I live in upstate NY and I have discovered that we have a pretty robust swinging community here. While I wholeheartedly know it is not anyone’s responsibility to educate me, Id be grateful to listen and learn. If this post is not allowed I apologize in advance and thank you for your time.

If anyone would be open to share-

  1. what is your favorite part of being in the swinger community and lifestyle?
  2. what are common misconceptions that you wish would go away?

This is NOT formal research and I’m not collecting or looking for any identifying information. I want to be a really good counselor to anyone that walks into my office and sexuality and expression is so important to our identities. I appreciate the opportunity to hear from real people and not interpret papers or journals.

EDIT: thank you everyone for your thoughts, stories, advice, and warnings. I’m am greatly appreciative of your willingness to share with an “outsider” (but maybe not….?? lol). In full transparency I will be deleting this post by the EOD, it felt important to keep this moment in Reddit temporal. Thank you all again.

“Sucks to your ass-mar”

TLDR: getting back into running after 8 year hiatus and sport induced asthma came back. Haven’t had it since I was a teen. Advice?

40F getting back into running with a ct5k program and I’m taking it really easy. The first week felt great (run 1 min, walk 2 min repeats) and I’ve moved on to week 2 (run 2 min, walk 1 repeats). I’ve been excited to get back out there and push myself, even working on shortening my stride and getting a comfortable 165 spm cadence. I used to be a runner but I haven’t consistently ran since 2018, completing several 5k, 8k and a sprint triathlon. Now, I’m postpartum, perimenopausal AND my sports induced asthma has kicked in. I just got an inhaler from my primary care doc and starting to get a bit of relief. I do walk a lot and weight lift as well so my muscles never bother me, it’s my lungs.

My question for those with S/I Asthma is do you have any advice for getting back out there? I haven’t had symptoms since I was a sprinter a really long time ago. TYIA

How do you find a sitter these days?

I don’t have facebook and our daycare doesn’t allow the staff to babysit. I’ve looked at care.com and sittercity.com but they seem so predatory in their paid subscriptions. I don’t know a lot of people in my town and would love to find a safe and reliable sitter. Is there a better way?

EDIT: Between this post and work colleagues I have some options. Thanks, everyone! Reddit comes through again.
