Copper peptide serum

The tiktok spam re certain jabby jabs is not my vibe, but I am interested in copper peptides being applied directly to the skin. Allies of Skin is $300+ and I'm not quite ready to drop that sort of money on a copper peptide serum.

Any recommendations besides the ordinary for a ghkcu/ copper peptide serum?

Tell me your favourite cuticle oil!

I have a wee bit of cuticle oil obsession. Its such a small way that makes me feel taken care of and prevents my fingers from looking nasty.

My favourites are the big bottles of Cuccio milk & honey and I keep a roller of Essie apricot in my drawer at work. I am partial to the Dior cuticle balm as well but its a strictly before bed because shes thick.

Any recommendations?

Finacea restock ETA September

For all the fellow rosacea tomato’s (and those who use for other reasons) I was informed today (thanks rural community pharmacist) that the supplier has given a ETA of sometime in September for a finacea restock.

Checked a few online chemists for stock in the interim a few of which have a “coming soon” or ships September alert on their finacea page.

May we all survive the great Finacea shortages of 2026 until then

Has anyone ordered from SelfCare Beauty?

I’ve been dying to try Dieux and they seem to be the only stockist in Aus.

Are they legit or buyer beware?

They also seem to stock Prequel which would be amazing to try without a shipping forwarder.

Fragrance free eye creams? AUS

I’ve been HOOKED on shishedo benefiance but unfortunately have developed a fragrance allergy and can’t tolerate it any longer.

Any suggestions for a similar (or really any) eye product that is fragrance free? I would even be happy to consider a retinol eye cream it just needs to be fragrance free.

Located in Aus, so Neocutis isn’t available sadly.

Cannot get skin used to Differin. Time to push through?

I have been trying to incorporate differin into my skincare routine now for months. Once a week, twice a week, three times a week. Sandwich method, before moisturiser, after moisturiser, it does not matter, once I apply it more than twice in a week I get tightness, burning and severe breakouts. Fine lines are worse. My skin is red and irritated.

My routine is solid. Taken out all other actives. No products that have previously broken me out or caused irritation. It just feels like my skin is not tolerating Differin AT ALL. If I quit for 2-3 weeks my skin goes back to dewy, plump, balanced, no fine lines. Super happy, not remotely dehydrated or irritated. Very minor hormonal breakouts.

I wanted to start Differin before stepping up to Tret. Do I need to just push through or is this just a fail and I can't use Differin?

Prior to having kids I just slapped Differin on every night with horrendously fragranced moisturisers and stripping face washes and it was fine, but that was 5 years ago and my skin is just noping out no matter how slowly I take it.

AM:

- wash with water

- laniege cream skin toner

- skin1004 centella serum

- Aestura Atobarrier365 Cream

- spf

PM:

- laniege waterbank cleanser

- laniege cream skin toner

- Aestura Atobarrier365 Cream

- sometimes LRP cicaplast as a mask maybe once a week max

Leather work bag that can fit ye ole lenovo thinkpad for <$400/500

Hi all,

In search of a new, over the shoulder, leather workbag. One that can fit one of those atrociously huge lenovo thinkpads and a lunch container.

What are we using for work that are decent quality, hoping for under $400 but I'll go to $500 for the right bag.

Compact cot - baby waking himself up on bars - size up or suck it up?

We bought a Tasman eco compact cot as our room is quite small and with my WFH set up it was all we could fit at the time.

Baby is nearly 8 months old and smacking the bars and getting caught in them constantly (he tends to spin around in his sleep) and its causing him to wake 5-7 times a night. Obviously cot bumper is a no no, but I'm wondering if the issue is the cot itself (its VERY narrow being a compact cot and he's only whacking himself into the narrow sides) or this is just a normal baby issue. My oldest never did this, but had a standard size cot.

We've gone from sleeping through the night to constant wakes whenever he rolls and face plants into the bars and I am being driven insane.

I now have a proper wfh set up in another room so could get a standard size cot. Is this likely to help or is this just a standard baby issue? Honestly do not remember having this happen with my oldest.

Sephora 15 % sale: recommend a gentle cleanser

I need to place an order for a refill on my Laniege cream skin (HG) so tomorrows 15% off sale has come at a good time.

Just noticed my cleanser is running low (I generally just buy whatever is on sale or new, haven’t found a HG yet) so I’ll grab something to hit the $100 minimum spend

Any recommendations for a gentle cleanser that’s foaming but good for sensitive, acne prone skin for a second cleanse from Sephora please?

Introduction of differin - ceramides burning

Ive been using the illyoon ato cream for yonks, never had an issue, introduced differin a week ago (on top of moisturiser, except last night i applied it before) and my precious ato cream was stingy tonight.

is this a sign of skin barrier damage? should i take it slower?

Got my first wrinkle, best anti aging products?

27, woke up with my first fine line today and safe to say I've had a little meltdown.

Besides suncreen, tret & botox (was already using sunscreen, have ordered the tret and booked the botox) what else can I do to reduce/prevent? Yes aging gracefully sounds nice but I don't think I'm quite ready to face it at 27 lol.

Collagen peptides? Supplements? What else are we doing?

Sweet creamy but not warm vanilla scents?

Is there even such a thing????

For reference I love the gem vanilla sugar deo; it’s almost an icy vanilla not warm at all

What are your signature products?

What are your signature products? The ones so good you'll never give them up and use on an every day basis kinda vibes.

Looking to find some goodies I won't want to give up. So far the only thing you'll have to pry from my cold dead hands is my Hourglass veil bronzer and Oral B whitening toothpaste lmao.
