Is this a good schedule to avoid burnout?

This is what my Fall Semester life is going to look like and I wanna know if this is a decent schedule or good enough schedule to avoid burnout. I am trying to maintain a high GPA like 3.7 to 3.8 and prioritize my health over academics. My work part time work schedule normally consists of 12-6 shifts on Sundays and closing shifts on Saturdays and a random closing shift on either Monday Wednesday or Friday. I never work more than those 3 days. Let me know if this is good or if something should change.

P.S this college schedule is for Rutgers-Newark if that's something you need to know.

Professor Tyler Michaud

Switched english professors and decided to stick with this one. Decent reviews on RMP and doesn’t mess up my schedule. For those who have had this professor recently. Tell me what his class is like and is an A in this class extremely difficult or possible?

Anyone took Professor Bockholdt English 101?

I am going to be taking her class this upcoming fall. She has very little reviews and most of the comments are tough grader on RMP. I am alright at English but I am striving for a high GPA so I wanted to know what her class would be like before I step in.

If you have any English 101 Professor Recommendations let me know

EDIT: preferably professors who are on monday/wednesday schedule only to avoid bunching up my classes

Gen Chem + Psych Transfer

I am a premed psych major transferring to rutgers NB after my first year. My classes so far are Precalc , English , Principles of Psych and Gen Chem w/ Lab. I am pretty confident the first 2 will transfer over seamlessly as they are core classes but my only concerns are about Psych and Chem.

My academic advisor doesn’t know which classes would transfer over seamlessly so thats why I came to reddit.

Those who successfully transferred from Newark to NB SAS and have taken these classes recently (earliest 2023 or 2022 please) please let me know if they transfer over clean or not.

Thank you

13 year old boy with severe autism (What do we do)

My younger brother was diagnosed with autism from a very young age. It stemmed from an accident my mother had and long story short my brother's brain was filled with fluid and it wasn't cleared out till he was 5. He has spent the rest of his life non-verbal and with level 3 severe autism. The most he can do is utter out words or phrases he hears but it's difficult to keep conversation. He has decent comprehension for his age, if you were to ask him to fetch you something he would understand and get it. However most other skills like writing and math he can't seem to do. Even at his school he can't even write his name and the schools designed to help kids like him have done very little for him.

Even worse, he is unable to shower or feed himself unless at our behest. We've exhausted a lot of options and now are willing to try anything to help him!

Please if you have a child with level 3 autism or if these sound similar to you. How did you solve or at least help the child.

where to register for rutgers newark math placement exam

Just as the title says Im trying to retake the math placement exam. In Orientation they said if we didn't like the class we were in we could do a retake test for July 10th. However can't find out where. I took the test on Canvas originally will I be redoing it there too?

Pre Med Psychology Major trying to transfer from Newark SAS to NB SAS

Gonna need some help. The drive from my house to newark is 40 minutes and from NB it's only 6 minutes. I need to transfer but im also trying to avoid graduating late because a couple of credits failed to transfer. I've already looked at the School to School transfer pdf and its requirements but none of it says which classes transfer and which don't. I already have my schedule which is English Comp I, Prin of Psych, Intermediate Algebra, Intro to Sociology, and Art History II. I'll be sitting at 15 creds. What should I do to increase my chances of a successful transfer?

P.S: I've already spoken with my Advisor and she basically said it was a gamble because you don't know which classes actually transfer till your accepted. I just want to know from anyone else here if there is a way to somehow prevent or at the very least reduce the damage.

Is there an occasional or per diem position for part time hire

Starting college in the fall at rutgers newark. The drive is 40 minutes from my house and I am on the pre med track majoring in psychology. Are there any opportunities that I can ask my manager about like an occasional position that can allow me to study and keep my job?

B string wont play in a f barre chord

Been trying to practice doing F chord for months following Justin Guitar but I genuinely struggle with getting the b string to ring out. I can sometimes get it to ring when i don’t have the other 3 fingers down on the neck and it’s just the barre finger but when i have all the fingers down b string just doesn’t play. I know my finger isnt muting the B string cuz I checked but I genuinely don’t know what to do. I also am confident that my guitar is in the right action.

Any Tips to bypass this block?
