Do they manifest a specific Wind when they gain their magic? Or do they start with the potential to channel all Winds but they are locked in once they are sent to the Colleges and trained in that specific Wind? Other than the taboo and training, is there anything preventing a human who knows to channel Ghur from channeling Azyr?
The spell included in the rules mentions the Burning keyword, but this keyword is not in the RoR's rules. I searched it on the Disciples of Tzeentch rules but didn't find it either (I was using that -pedia site because I don't have the battle tome, maybe I missed it). I kinda remember the keyword from the pre-battle tome rules but I don't see it anymore. Was this rule lost when the Tzeentch book released?
Still missing one of them, and their bike chaplain, for use in a Vehement Procession list with all types of Chaplains, but here are two mostly ready. I still need to do something on the bases, most likely I will use some asphalt texture
I know keywords are shared by the entire unit for the purpose of rules that refer to the unit rather than models. I also know that if the bodyguard unit is destroyed, the leaders are still considered as leading the unit for the purpose of their abilities, but you lose any bodyguard abilities, such AIs ability to reroll wounds. Do you also lose keywords? Is my Emperor's Champion still considered Battleline if the AI bodyguard is destroyed?
Agaist Tau, using a very nonstandard Ironstrom + Living Miracle combo. Not gonna lie, I was behind by a lot at first, especially getting A Grievous Blow and Bring it Down as my secondaries in turns 1 and 2, and the only unit that met the requirement was a Stormsurge. But this new method of keeping missions helped me score both when I showered it with lascannon fire from a RepEx and a Ballistus. A supported Emperor's Champion with a Lieutenant and AIs was even more lethal (literally), and the usual Marshall/Castellan/SBs still hit like a truck.
My Vindicator spent most of the game battleshocked, but it wasn't that bad, especially because it recovered on the last round, just in time to go grab my opponent's Home
The option to not score a secondary immediately also helped a lot, since I delayed scoring Outflank so I didn't go over the VP cap and thst ended up giving me the push I need to turn over the score.
The official app was kinda confusing to use at first, but the option to see my opponent's datasheets was quite useful.
All in all, it was a slow game (we took almost 6 hours) but understandable due to the learning curve. I'm looking forward to more games.
So even the Ancient detachment is 2DP despite how specific it is
GW informed my local game store there was a problem with the order they placed for the Made to Order army set. So they contacted me to let me know. They also let me know they had a leftover box of the old combat patrol. So I got the army set plus a Rhino for the price of a combat patrol instead of the price of the made to order box. Big success. Now I'm wondering if I need two Rhinos considering I have one and an immolator.
It's not the best out there, but it's mine and I'm proud of him. Particularly happy with the battlefield trophy at his foot. And speaking of feet, like any self respecting Mexican devil, he has a hoof and a claw, because that's how tradition depicts the devil over here.
