Flight advice (uk)

Hello,
I booked a flight for me and two family members.
This is in the UK (jet2) and it was quite last minute with only 1 week to go.
I didn’t think to prebook seats and checked in straight away and it’s seated us separately, which I thought was fine, but then I’ve just had the fear that 1 of the party may not fit the seat with the armrest down.
I’m kicking myself for not being considerate, and worried 1 that she won’t fit, but 2, what about the person next to her.

Does anyone have any advice?
I feel awful and super anxious about it like I’ve ruined the trip by not prebooking seats together.

Redundancy consultation expectations

Hi, I was informed my role is at risk of redundancy and I have a consultation meeting on Friday.
It’s a pool of one, just my role going.

I imagine they will explain the reasons, plans and give me the opportunity to comment, propose alternatives etc.
I plan on asking lots of questions as I have seen evidence that this is already agreed so the consultation is a bit pointless tbh.

Can anyone give any tips on what the format will look like please?
Also when is the right time to drop questions about why it’s only me in the pool, that I’ve got documented evidence that this is already agreed? There are also some areas which are in age discrimination territory, so I’m not sure how to approach this.

My preference is to negotiate an enhanced redundancy settlement and I will happily go quietly. How is best to start these discussions?

TLDR: Not looking for legal advice, just expectations on the format of the consultation meeting and questions should be raised.

Overnight parking (already searched older posts)

Hi, I need to park overnight as staying in the city centre for a work event.
Where would people recommend parking. I’ve heard booking the q car park in advance, but more familiar with park and ride at Meadowhall.

Cost isn’t too much of a problem as will be reimbursed, just don’t want to be turning up and driving round for 30 mins trying to find where to park. It’ll be like 12pm-12pm ish

Thanks! (Already searched previous posts but they were older)

First period since 2018 (ED recovery)

As title says, in ED recovery and having my first period since 2018.
Has anyone on here experienced anything similar? I’m not sure what is normal and what isn’t, I’m not worried, just some of it looks super old and like it’s been in there a while 😂

Recovery

I’ve taken 3 months off Reddit after my rant about GLP posts on this sub.
Anyhow, I’m doing really well with recovery and I feel like it’s time to leave this sub altogether.

For context, 35F had bulimia for over 25 years and was purging 3-5 times a day over the last couple of years. I was very unwell. Still am, maybe will always be, but I feel a bit better each day and the shame is going away.

I’m doing really well, maybe I’ll see some of you on the recovery pages. There is hope, I am proof of that.
