He saw the beach once last summer as a 5/6 month old pup and wasn’t interested in the water, but today he had the time of his life running and chasing seagulls in the waves. We’ll be back again tomorrow. 🌅
He played on the ramp, splashed, and worked himself up jumping in and swimming out for his toy and back on his own. Of course he doesn’t care for the waterproof toys so his reward ball is soaked, but it floats!
I know AI is a very controversial thing and I hope to not stir the pot up. I belong to a very small working dog club and our decoy is our fearless leader, literally sacrificing his body for our dogs. I want to have a shirt made for the few of us to surprise him and tweaked AI prompts to get what I wanted, but I can’t use them for screen printing because of the resolution. Can anyone help?
She also has over 30 relatives, mostly through the Dutch side, ranging from 30% to 12% relatives.
Edited: as I look through, she has several half sibling level of relation Dutchies with BRNs and a few still in the Netherlands! We did some bite work but she’s so soft and sweet and too nervy with sounds etc. She loved being worked in prey and loved that part of the game but any pressure and she wanted to appeasement kiss the decoy. Such a sweet girly lol. We do lots of other stuff (agility, mess around with rally style obedience because she loves it and endless hikes, ball and tug).
Her brother, on the other hand, was made for the bitey things. We are having a time- sometimes fun, sometimes very much not- learning together.
He was pretty hesitant first- I was in the pool with him on a flat collar and long line and had to use a little leash pressure to get him to get in. He jumped onto me lol like “MOMMA CATCH ME” and scratched me through my rash guard but that was the worst of the session. He eventually was using the ramp to go in a bit on his own to get his toy and I think he’s going to end up loving it. I really want to do it all with him and the older he gets, the more he makes me think it’s possible.
Hi everyone! Sorry it’s been a minute- but as you can see Lazarus is alive and well!
He loves his dig box and it’s been his choice of hide for a while now. The elevated hide that I had made for him has turned into his porta potty lol- anytime he heads up the ramp I know he’s going to take a dump hahaha.
He still struggle with parts of his shed (see the last pic of the skin I pulled off his head- it has spots! I never noticed, probably because I used a green Tupperware for his soak and not this white one)
He gets around fabulously and has put on enough weight to be at a good body condition and we’ve done well maintaining it. He’s a voracious eater and a spicy boy that gets territorial when it’s time for clean up. I love his personality so much, especially after being brought back from death’s door.
Long live Lazarus!
Ludo is 14 months and we’re full swing into adolescence/dick head mode lol
I got Ludo as a PSA prospect and he is very much a working dog through and through. We have many struggles these days around drive capping and neutrality, and just listening to his mother in general. The work isn’t always fun lately so I decided to take a step back from obedience and start doing other things that are just fun for us; no corrections, no obedience. I’m really hoping that it starts to improve our relationship overall. We are also going to start dock diving next weekend. He doesn’t like the water, but I know he will do anything for his bite roll. Wish us luck!
It was a great trip for environmentals- the forklifts were moving around and beeping, they opened their huge garage bay doors, and all kinds of other distractions. He did such a good job with his engagement, super proud of him!
