Investment / taxes for a Canadian living in Japan

Through inheritance I will come into a fair bit of money that is in mutual funds, stock investments and savings. All at the Royal Bank of Canada.

Long ago I filed the papers with the Canadian consulate in Nagoya regarding taxes. I have Japanese PR and will mostly likely spend the rest of my life here. My wife is Japanese. No children.

The accountant currently in charge of the accounts suggested that I move all the savings to Japan.

We would prefer to leave the money in Canada as it will eventually go to my niece and nephew, but we have access to it until then.

Is this possible? if so, how?

Standard/accepted practice in Japanese to English translation for society names.

Am working on a J>E translation and would like to know what the standard/accepted practice is when translating names of academic societies.

Is this the correct way to format The Nihon Bijutsu Tōken Hozon Kyōkai?
Bold added to make it easier to find.

Satō, as head of the Shizuoka branch of The Nihon Bijutsu Tōken Hozon Kyōkai (The Society for Preservation of Japanese Art Swords, 日本美術刀剣保存協会), devoted his life to collecting and preserving swords, and deeply respected Ryūichi Sano (佐野隆一) for his intentions behind using his private funds to establish the sword museum.

Thanks for taking the trouble to read this.
Enjoy!

Can't find "Align to baseline grid" in English version (Japanese typography active) of CS6 inDesign.

Looking for help finding the Align to Baseline Grid in an English CS6 Mac version of inDesign with KJC typography activated. Where it is supposed to be located I have the Kinsoku set and the Mojikumi set. Any help is welcomed.

Font pairing recommendations/advice needed for a martial arts history book

Hello,
I am working on a self-publishing a book on the history of a Japanese martial art: naginata.
Naginata is a polearm similar to a glaive. The text is written and is going through the various rounds of editing. The book size will be B5

I know that proper typography can greatly enhance the reading experience for a reader, but know very little about the subject. I know that the number of fonts should be limited and they should complement each other.

I am hoping someone here could recommend fonts to use for chapter titles, main text, headings, subheadings, pullouts and footnotes.

What would you recommend I use?

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
