The Nigella Eating Discourse.

I am LOVING her so much on the show, she is just warm and just sweet.

I really hope next series that she takes even bigger bites. Actually no, I hope she eats the entire bake just to annoy trolls online 🤣🤣

It’s so ridiculous that it’s even a thing 🤣

The Autistic Centre in Glasgow.

This is a bit of a vulnerable post and if anyone isn’t completely comfortable sharing their story on here, my inbox is open.

Did anyone have a bad experience at the Autistic centre in the City? The Autism and ADHD Diagnostic Centre one in Bath Street.

I feel like I am being gas lit online saying it’s a brilliant service when it was one of the worst experiences of my life.

I went for an autistic assessment at this place, and it was an absolute disaster. The woman assessing me just seemed irritated at the fact I couldn’t remember a lot in my childhood due to ✨trauma✨ (if I don’t laugh, I’ll cry 😂) she just seemed irritated. And then when I got the results, they said that despite I had autistic traits that impacted my day to day life (to the point I would hurt myself), they couldn’t officially diagnose me, as because I was little bit social as a child and because I worked in retail (HEAVILY masked) 🙃 sorry I needed to pay bills Karen 😂😂

When I asked her in tears “so these traits I have, how can I manage them,” she said she couldn’t offer any advice. A person who worked with ppl with autism couldn’t tell me even one helpful tip to help.

So noted, if you are social and work in retail (even if you are having literal breakdowns over something so little going wrong) you can’t be autistic 😂😂

Now I’m back to square one waiting for an ADHD assessment

Did anyone else have a similar experience? I feel I’m being lied to about them being good.

I can’t win!

Pretty much the title. I have a partner who HATES lying, obvs everybody doesn’t like lying but my partner DESPISES it, almost like she never lies in her life. I am a people pleaser, who tells little white lies to please her. Not huge ones, just ones like if she wants to play a video game, I say yes even if I don’t really want to, it just keeps people happy.

Recently I have noticed that my mask is slipping, I’m so burnt out and my mental health is atrocious. The video games we play are so fast paced and full of puzzles that I just didn’t want to play those kind of games or in general at times, So yesterday when she asked me if I wanted to play (after I suggested Lego for the 100th time) I ended up saying and I just don’t feel like playing those kind of games, leading my partner to get all moody with me. Going silent, putting on her headphones, watching something on her phone.

Later on, I was cooking tea, and she was supposed to come in and help after twenty minutes (cause that’s when something would be ready and she could come in and finish off her dinner as we were having different things to eat) I was cooking up like 5 different things at the same time so naturally a lot going on. My partner went on the phone with her dad (which I don’t mind as long she was back in 20 mins) the problem is her Dad likes to talk on the phone and there’s times where we can say it’s a quick call but it ends up being an hour long (we call him every night) so when my partner came back, she was late, so naturally I am unmasking, I am quick running round the kitchen, not thinking how I am expressing, quite blunt, just want everything done. My partner knows this is how I am when overwhelmed, and accuses me of being horrible towards her. Bear in mind, I was calling her pet names, I just asked questions in a more blunt tone, I just wanted things done!

Cut to a massive screaming fight, where she ends up refusing to eat the food after all of that. I had to leave the flat because I ended up screaming and breaking down, telling her that I have traits that I can’t help and all I wanted was her to be in the kitchen on time while I’m juggling multiple things to cook at one time. I cook everyday (which I don’t mind but it you’re gonna help, stick to that help)

It’s like she is mad if I’m not honest, but she doesn’t like it when I am honest. Like, I can’t win!!

Also, just a heads up, i put I have autistic traits because when I went for a diagnosis, I got denied it because of a really terrible assessment which is a whole mess itself.

There’s bad episodes in ALL the series, not just the recent.

So I am sick to death of this online discourse.

I’m no being funny here but the minute RTD took over, you guys were nothing but negative from the go. You guys never even gave the series a chance.

Yes the season finales weren’t great and there’s some episodes that weren’t great. But why are we acting like there aren’t some absolute stinkers in every season.

Matt’s first episodes weren’t exactly amazing either, there’s tons of David & Capaldi episodes that I skip.
Tbh looking back the one who had the strongest of runs was Eccleston. Ncuti had great episodes that I would happily rewatch.

So the other doctors can be excused for having a few crappy episodes, but Ncuti’s is the worst because their finales wasn’t strong?

And let’s be real here, the classics aren’t exactly the greatest. Don’t lie, they aren’t that great.

“Do you mind if I look at your homework,” “Okay, just don’t copy everything,”

Any other movie/tv posters that look like other posters?

Three movies I never seen before, and my thoughts.

So I ended up doing a bit of a movie marathon, I watched three very different movies that I had never seen before, so here are my thoughts.

DROP DEAD GORGEOUS.
This was my cup of tea, dark humour, satire, and Allison Janney. I can definitely see why this is a cult classic, it’s hilarious. Also, the beer can and Allison Janney’s foundation (that just kept getting more orange each scene) was comedic genius.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

FRUITVALE STATION.
A very, very different movie from previous. This movie was sensational and heartbreaking. It also made me realise that I have watched and LOVED every Ryan Coogler movie (I haven’t watched Creed) and after watching this, it’s safe to say he is one of the greatest directors of this generation. Him and Michael B.Jordan are golden together, and this shows. Michael is outstanding, and Octavia Spencer was sensational. Knowing this is a true story, about a young man on the day he wanted to change, he was 22 years old, he had a daughter, he was loved. And the chills when his Mother told him to get the train, is just numbing.

Ofc I would encourage anyone to watch films I liked, but if you have the time, I highly encourage you to watch this.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

FINAL DESTINATION BLOODLINES.
This actually really surprised me, I love the first two FD movies (for me, they went downhill afterwards) but I still wanted to give this ago. Sometimes when franchises come back, they feel like a completely different movie (like 28yrs later) this still felt like it belonged in the OG series while still throwing something different. What I didn’t expect was the emotion I felt when we said goodbye to the KING himself, Mr Tony Todd. I felt like I needed to bow at that moment when he came in, an Icon. I really liked the little twist for his character too, it’s gonna be interesting rewatching the series with this twist. The kills were fun, goofy and grim, just like the originals. A really fun ride.

How do I be honest?

I know the title is off 🤣

So, I’m quite a quiet person which means I don’t like confrontation (some ppl don’t like it when ppl say stuff behind their back, I do, keep your bitchiness away, I would rather someone speak behind my back than confronting me heads on insulting me) I think it’s people pleasing.

However, I can never be honest with my partner. Not in a betrayal way, nothing too dramatic. She is night shift worker who comes home at early hours in the morning, and sometimes she wants to have full on conversations at like 7am (this morning we talked about serial killers) I’m an early bird but there’s times I just want complete utter silence. I have a routine, I need a bit of alone/quiet time after I wake up. But I don’t like telling people to be quiet, so it comes off really terrible in my body language, I huff & puff without releasing, nearly cry due to it. Then my partner gets (rightfully) mad and just tells me to be honest with her.

I want to be honest but I’m always worried I’m gonna say things wrong or if I am going to come across as horrible. There’s times I want to scream at people, everything just gets too much, I wish I could be a normal (close to) human being with basic social skills.

Walking from Bellgrove to Forge Retail Park.

Hey, I know this sounds like a really silly and random question.

Walking from Bellgrove station to the Forge retail, is it considered safe to walk? I have applied for a job and my train can stop at Bellgrove, it’s like 15 min walk and I’m a fast walker but I just wanna know it’s safe. I’ll most likely get a bus but sometimes it might be handy just to walk.

Silly I know, but as a woman I like to know ✌🏻💕

Thank you xxx

NO SPOILERS RN PLZ 🥺

I’m about to watch “My Private Idaho,” for the very first time. I’m trying to watch a lot more movies, especially ones that I have never seen before.

I’m kinda going into this blind, but judging by the synopsis, this is gonna be a rollercoaster.

I haven’t watched any River movies either, apart from ‘Stand by Me,’ which ruined me 🙃

I will be back with my thoughts 🥰

*ignore my continue watching, i didn’t even watch shark tale 🤣 it auto played so no judgement 🤣*
