An interaction with the Maharashtra Police

He is not wearing a helmet and look at the audacity

At this point interacting with Maharashtra Police is nothing but a humiliation ritual, they think that we are slaves and they are our masters

What is this language? Is this how Policing should be? Pathetic

What is this hooliganism of Punjab Police ?

Incident took place last night at VIP Road in Zirakpur, where an argument broke out between the police and a bike rider over the motorcycle's keys.

Under the Motor Vehicles Act, no police officer can forcibly remove your vehicle's keys; they can impound the vehicle or issue a ticket, but here, the officer is clearly seen taking the keys. The biker can be heard repeatedly demanding his keys back.

As the argument escalated and a video was being recorded, a police officer took offense and tried to forcefully stop the recording. Shortly after, the police resorted to using abusive language and once again tried to shut down the camera. Seeing this behavior, the opposing party grew angry and retaliated physically.

We have to fix Delhi Police

Just came across this in the Copwatch Community about Delhi Police

Victim :

Two days ago, I went to my local police station in Delhi with fellow residents of my colony to file a complaint against a commercial establishment operating in a residential area. It posed a serious fire hazard and was putting all our lives at risk. The investigating officer’s response was astonishing. He said, “There are so many such establishments across the city in residential areas.” I asked him, “So does that make it acceptable? Is it fine until one of them causes a fire and people die?” That clearly annoyed him.

We then handed over our written complaint. Instead of focusing on the issue, he remarked, “Ye Hindi mein nahi likh sakte the? Apne hi desh mein log Hindi nahi likhte. Dekho kaisi buri halat hai.” I told him I know Hindi very well, in fact my Hindi is better than my English, but I find it easier to draft formal applications in English. If he didn’t know English that’s not my fault.

Later, my phone battery died because there had been a power cut for several hours. The outage was caused by the same commercial establishment we had come to complain about. I politely asked if they had a Type C charger. The response was unnecessarily rude. Then a woman police officer from the Northeast kindly helped and put my phone on charge.

At that point, another lower ranked officer sarcastically said, “Bina phone ke kaam nahi chalta tum logon ka?” I replied that there had been no electricity for three to four hours and asked how anyone was expected to manage without a phone, which today is often the only way to stay connected. I also told him that showing a little empathy wasn’t too much to ask and reminded him that the police are there to help citizens.

This wasn’t my first unpleasant experience with the police. I had another bad encounter a few months ago, and this incident made me think again. If some police personnel can speak so disrespectfully to educated citizens who know their rights, how must they be treating poor people, daily wage workers, or those who are illiterate and unaware of the legal protections available to them?

Of course, not every police officer is like this. The woman officer who helped me with my phone was courteous and compassionate. But too often, many officers seem to treat ordinary citizens with hostility instead of respect. We need to sensitise our police force. Wearing a uniform should mean serving the public with professionalism, patience, and empathy, not behaving like street level bullies. Respect for the law begins with respect for the people the law is meant to protect.

TLDR : The author visited a Delhi police station to report a dangerous commercial setup, only to be met with apathy and dismissiveness from the investigating officers. Instead of addressing the safety hazard, the officers rudely mocked the author

Law for thee, not for me- motto of Maharashtra Police

Ambad Police Station, Nashik, Maharashtra Police !

Hon'ble Chairman, a shocking incident has come to light at the Ambad Police Station in Nashik where Police Inspector Rajput fired his official pistol just for fun, despite there being no emergency or law and order situation.

According to government rules, any such firing must be recorded in the police station's diary, or an immediate report must be submitted to superiors.

However, even after many days, the concerned officers have remained silent. Two individuals, Trainee PSI Salunkhe and Datta Dhindhale, were injured in this incident. There is also a suspicion that CCTV footage from the police station has been removed to destroy crucial evidence.

When an ordinary citizen makes a minor mistake, charges are filed immediately. But since the department is shielding its own irresponsible officer, there is deep resentment among the people of Nashik. Therefore, considering the gravity of the situation, I request the government through this point of propriety to conduct a high-level inquiry and take appropriate action against him.

Corruption of Andhra Pradesh Police at Anakapalli !

Andra Pradesh Police reeks of corruption, they do not even leave such vulnerable truck drivers.

The whole image of Andhra Pradesh is being tarnished because we cannot keep our Police in check. If Andhra Pradesh is going to become a Freer and a More Prosperous State, it cannot happen without an Accountable Police

Let's ask together for more sensible policing in our state

Hooliganism of Telangana Police at Nizampet !

I am posting such videos every other day in the Hyderabad subreddit, Telangana Police is moving too far from sensible policing

We have to talk more about sensible policing, if Telangana has to become a Free and a Prosperous State, it can never accomplish it with such third class police

Why are we giving Hyderabad Police such discretionary powers every night ?

What is this hooliganism?

Video nikalree ? Video nahi nikal sakte kya?

Every night Hyderabad Police imposes an unconstitutional lockdown and commits such atrocities, everyday.

Hyderabadis should wake up and smell the coffee, Hyderabad Police should not be allowed to impose such unconstitutional lockdowns every night.

Let businesses stay open, let people stay out on the street, enough of this hooliganism of the Police

Why is the UP Police so much interested in reelbaazi ?

We have reported so many Police Departments across the country but increasingly in the context of UP Police one thing keeps happening again and again

UP Police Officers brag on social media. Police in other states also do the same but not to the extent UP Police does. Why ?

Condition of Raipur Police

Look at the state of the capital city, Raipur! If you call after an accident here, the 112 emergency service will take half an hour to arrive, and on top of that, the policemen will actually show up drunk.

This accident occurred yesterday right in the heart of the city near the City Centre Mall, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Devendra Nagar police station. Now, see the situation for yourself and be the judge.
