Hi, might be a bit of a weird request but I want to get into reading non-fiction, I like the idea of a more narrative written non-fiction book that tells a story (not an academic approach).

Cats and dogs come to mind first, surely there must be stories about interesting or important dogs?? Or stories where a dog is heavily featured.

Other animals are welcome too though, anything you think is an interesting story throw it my way, I’m not too picky past what I’ve already listed.

I would prefer it not to be super tragic :’) but telling the story of an animal that has died is fine.

Not a uni student at Sunderland but from here and living here and struggling to meet new people. Ideally people in my age range (20-30), or women only groups. I'm not a big drinker and it seems thats the only way to go out and meet people :') but I'd love to find a group or a couple of people that would enjoy going out on walks or exploring new places!

Anyway thank you in advance if anyone has any suggestions ❤️ I'd also be open to north east discord servers or whatsapp groups if they exist but dunno if thats a thing.
