ebay issued refund after seller finally decides to ship. what should i do?

so nearly 2 months ago i won an auction from a seller who was on vacation mode that ended on may 13. after that date, he didn’t ship the item or provide any eta when i messaged him, so i opened a claim last week. the final day for the seller to respond was today (may 30), and he responded yesterday telling me he just got back from being out of the country and didn’t have his phone and will be shipping it this week. i tell him that’s fine and he updates the tracking with a label, though it hasn’t been dropped off at usps yet.

this morning, i receive an email from ebay telling me i’ve been issued a refund due to insufficient proof of shipping from the seller. i’m not sure when he’ll be dropping it off so i’m not sure how to approach this. what should i do in this scenario?
