My partner (27f) and I (31m) were together for 8 years. Things started to get rocky over the last year or so. Anyways, we’ve been separated now for 2 months and she just went on her first date. She wouldn’t call it a date, but the dude picked her up from our house, they “chilled” at a park for 3 hours, and she came home with flowers. Fucked me up pretty good.
Anyways, I don’t know how to put myself out there. She’s a beautiful girl, there’s dudes drooling over her. I would say I’m a decent looking, but I’m not on her level lol. I haven’t dated in 8 years man! What do I do? We met on Tinder so that’s most of my experience, but I hear that’s just trashy now. I’m considering making a Hinge account.

For context, we have 2 toddler aged children, so that definitely complicates things as far as going to bars and/or shows to meet people. Probably could swing it once a week though. Any advice? Thanks dudes of Reddit.

Dinner: a $9 bag of cheddar jack cheezits and airport terminal water

I’m sitting at my gate about to board a plane for my first solo vacation since having kids 4.5 years ago. My partner and I are separated right now but still living together, and I can’t help but feel insanely guilty for leaving her home with the kids while I go have fun. I’m trying to let it go but I’ve just got this underlying anxiety related to this guilt, like I’m doing something wrong. It sucks. I hope I can have fun and just live in the moment this weekend. Wish me luck :)

I bleached my hair and it was horrifically yellow, didn’t have any toner so I improvised. I mixed conditioner and purple tattoo ink :)
Absolutely no idea if it’s going to turn out or not. Wish me luck.
