They said that they told all their local regulars to bring their collections to complete the quest. Fortunately we brought ours but others did not. We all just kind of let others pull the cards from our collections to get the promo card.

Which I will say, the LGS just gave everyone that completed the quest and promo and didn’t charge anything. That was really awesome.

During the GameStop/ebgames collection quest the stores that didn’t have packs still made people pay the cost of 3 packs to get the promo card.

I will say though, why is Ravensburger promoting/hosting these events and NOT sending the necessary product to the stores.

We’re from central Florida and I haven’t managed to catch a single Lorcana product there in at least a year.

We’re out of town this weekend and checked targets and Walmart in this area, a pretty rural area. And their card sections were picked more clean than the targets in central Florida.

I think it’s officially game over for finding stuff as a casual.

Philosophers Stone is in my theater every day. But a couple days it has a 7pm 3D showing while Azkaban (Friday) and Deathly Hallows pt1 (Tuesday) have 4pm showings. I particularly was hoping to see Azkaban in theater. But I guess not.

At first we had a cm say everything but packs were sold out, the. w just had a CM announce that playmats and booster boxes were running low and everything else was still in good stock. Just got inside and there’s still a huge line of people snaking through the store

A big 🖕🏼FU to everyone that didn’t follow the rules that Disney Springs set for this release. Everyone that followed the rules got screwed over.

Upset about this because I’ve always bought prerelease boxes from them for $120

There’s security and police on site but I think there’s too many people to really do anything about it. There’s entire extended families in line on foot, grandparents and all. And people with STROLLERS basically standing in the road.

I feel like new rules are going to be implemented again after this.

8:45am and they’ve opened security to begin letting people into springs. They’re going single file, one security line.

There’s apparently lines in Orange garage too and there’s already a backed up line in springs. It’s possible they let orange garage in at the same time as Lime. Which would be a bummer

9:22am they just announced to our portion of the line that they’ve started selling and the line will start moving. Lots of people cutting the line to join friends as they’re walking walk to the end of the line

10:10am they are now announcing booster boxes and playmats are running low and they’ll probably be sold out by the time we get in the store

Just a heads up for anyone looking for Lorcana while at Disney world

It always seems like the larger a group gets, the more oblivious people become to everyone around them.
I went to Disney Springs tonight to do a little shopping and grab dinner. When I parked, I actually took a moment to straighten my car so there'd be enough room between me and the 15 passenger van next to me while still leaving space for the car on my other side.

Sorry this is so long. TLDR came back to my car to multiple people leaning on my car and someone changing a baby on my hood. When I asked them to move they acted shocked and inconvenienced by me wanting to use my car to leave.

A couple hours later I came back with a few bags in hand along with some food to-go, planning to eat while watching the fireworks from the top of the garage.

As I got closer, I noticed the van's doors were wide open with what had to be a dozen adults and kids climbing in and out. Then I realized three adults were leaning against MY CAR.
One person had their full weight on my driver's side mirror, angling it inward.

Another person i thought was leaning on my hood... was actually CHANGING A BABY ON THE HOOD OF MY CAR!

I honestly just stood there at my back bumper for a second trying to process what I was looking at.

I finally cleared my throat and said, "Um... excuse me. Would you mind getting off my car, please?"

The two people by my driver's door said “sorry sorry sorry” and stepped back... but stayed standing in front of my door. The mirror was now bent even farther in from them pushing off of it.

The person changing the baby looked startled and hurried to move the baby into a stroller... which they parked right next to my driver's door and continued trying to change the diaper.

After putting my bags into the back seat, I had to ask the people blocking my door a second time to move so I could actually get into my car. So the moved the stroller just to the front of my car.

Once I got inside, I noticed an older woman holding another baby was still leaning against the passenger side of my car. The van doors were still open, and people were still crowding around my vehicle.

After motioning to the people next to my car and waiting for them to move I started the car, but nobody seemed to take the hint. I didn't want to honk because the infant was literally right next to my front bumper, so I lightly revved the engine instead. That finally got someone's attention, and they started yelling at everyone else to move.

The older woman got off my car and gave me a look like I WAS the one inconveniencing her.

Even then, almost everyone stayed within about a foot of my car, staring at me while I motioned for them to back up so I could leave. Only one person actually moved.

I backed out as slowly as I could and the second I cleared the space, they flung the van doors back open and several kids jumped into the now empty parking spot... right as another car was driving down the aisle looking for parking.

I just don’t understand why so many people at the parks have no consideration for their actions and how they just don’t care other people exist around them.

With the upcoming prerelease scheduled for Disney locations, and the release of the Currators Collection: Heroines Edition box the Disney Springs is likely going to be chaotic.

This week the pin drop Tuesday release was once again chaotic with large amounts of line cutting, cars driving dangerously in the parking garage, and multiple verbal altercations. While Disney set new rules for release events at Disney springs, they’re really only holding true to the 7am rule for entering the parking garage. They’re letting the line build and then giving out wristbands AFTER security, completely turning a blind eye to massive line cutting. Someone that stated they were in line around 250th just after 7am said that they ended up somewhere around 470 by the time security opened at 9am.

The demand for Lorcana in general and the Disney locations exclusive playmats and now collectors box is going to result in huge crowds flooding the Lime garage to queue up. And without any kind of enforcement on line cutting it could very well result in some very tense moments.

If you will be attending the release event at Disney Springs, I’d strongly suggest reaching out to Disney Worlds guest services (online or in person) to provide feedback and respectfully ask for additional actions to ensure release events are fair and ultimately safe for all.
