Give me your Crystal Legacy Tier List

Don’t have access to my PC for next few weeks so im running my Crystal Legacy nuzlocke again (been a while). From my current runs, my thought:

GOATS: geodude, abra, aerodactyl, starmie, gyarados

HONORABLE MENTIONS: gastly, heracross, tentacool, wooper, jolteon (if u give it shadow ball), jynx, scyther (after Will fight, evolve to scizor), alligator

OVERRATED: sheep (well it pwns Falkner), rhyhorn (dunno why but geo just better cuz of boom)

NICHE: rat, machop, houndour

GOAT SACRIFICES (I’ll explain why below): hoot, spear, bird

I usually bring 5 PKMN + 1 sacrifice to every gym battle, those birds are great for safe switching cuz they all immune to ground and ghost. Can be used as pure sacrifice or to tank a ground atk, then bait another type move as u switch to a counter.

TIPS:

- capture Spearow at R46 early and then Geodude at Dark Cave (f larvitar). Getting Spearow early means u get 2 chances for Abra at R34 and 35 and guarantees a Heracross before Whitney (headbutt trees Azalea + R33). If u miss Abra, just buy with coins at Goldenrod.

My team before Whitney: Gyarados, Geo, Gas, Heracross (w/ fury cutter), Croc/Chop, lv 2 Spearow

Need ways to make money in Crystal Legacy before Blackthorn

I'm hardcore nuzlocking, so I want to boost my team with vitamins before going to Blackthorn but need a faster way to make money. Google AI methods I've looked up are either unreliable/misinformation. So far the best method I've found is resetting time repeatedly for Buena's Password and redeeming a vitamin for every 5 resets. Is there a better method?

I have:

- amulet coin

- thief

- unlocked trainers up to Ice Path for rematches

[Brazilian Dynasty] Should Viper have played out the BO1 vs Hera?

Not sure if it’s cuz he didn’t have time/went home, but I wonder if he should’ve played his BO1 vs Hera for seeding. Hera was awarded the “auto-win” and gave him ACCM and got to play Andy. Don’t know if it would’ve mattered in the end, but it could’ve been Hera v ACCM and Viper v Andy today.

If the NFL was the World Cup

Group Stage: play each team H/A, 6 games, top 2 advance to KO, H2H first tiebeaker, PD second tiebreaker.

Group A: BUF, NE, MIA, NYJ

Group B: PIT, BAL, CIN, CLE

Group C: JAX, HOU, IND, TEN

Group D: LAC, DEN, KC, LV

Group E: PHI, DAL, NYG, WSH

Group F: MIN, CHI, GB, DET

Group G: TB, NO, ATL, CAR

Group H: SEA, SF, ARZ, LAR

Knockout Stage: I like cross-conference play so Winner A vs Runner-up E, Winner B vs Runner-up F, etc. KO bracket is made immediately so teams can see their potential path to Finals; no re-seeding.

  • RO16, Winners will host game. RO8 onwards, games played at pre-determined sites
  • MVP, Golden Helmet and Golden Gloves award given at end of tournament

Do NFL Players Hold any Leverage at all during Contract Negotiations

Everytime I see NFL contracts, it makes me wonder how the NFLPA negotiates with its owners and how the richest league by far pays its players the least.

Owned Protected:

  1. Non-guarantees. Doesn’t exist in MLB, NHL, NBA. I understand it’s rosters of 53 players, but you’d think by now the players would’ve negotiated guaranteed contracts for all.

  2. 5th year options. Weird how 1st-rounders have their rights locked to their teams for 5 years whereas a later round player can become a UFA a year earlier. Another example of owners being protected.

  3. Franchise tags. It’s crazy how a team can have a players rights up to 7 years (5+1+1). A RB can come in at 23, player for 7 years, get dumped and never see a significant contract since now he’s a UFA at 30yo.

  4. No soft cap. Owners can only spend up to the hard cap and unlike the NBA and MLB, cannot pay any luxury tax to pay players more over the soft cap.

  5. No Trade Clauses. Basically non-existent (something like only 5 players have these or something). Owners have full ownership of you and can trade you at their discretion.

Players

  1. UFA after 4 years. I mean I guess this is better than NHL where you have to be 27 or if your original team don’t want you no more. But NFL players start later anyways so many could be 27 after 4 years.

  2. I mean you could sit out training camp I guess, make a stink but JJ could always just say “I’ve got you for 3 more years” or trade you and call it a day.

[AITAH] My wife gets mad at me when I turn on the air conditioner at home and I get upset.

My wife and I live in a 2 bedroom apartment and for the past 5+ years, she has been getting mad at me when I turn on the air conditioner. It’s a portable ac that makes noise and it was in our bedroom before. Her reasons for getting mad she says are:

  1. it’s too loud
  2. it’s not hot enough to turn on ac (ie: today we fought because it was showing 16 C on her phone app but I turned it on earlier when i felt hotter)
  3. thinks it’s a waste of energy/$$$ so when I leave the room for 30m+, I must turn it off
  4. because she wouldn’t have turned it on in that situation because she doesn’t feel it’s hot
  5. my wife’s reading this as I post and she wants to be clear that she allows me to turn it on during the summer when it’s hot (but I had to fight for this too years ago cuz she’d get upset at me then too)

After the first couple years, I moved the ac out from our bedroom and into our second room where I have my game room with my computer and it’s been there now. She still gets upset when I turn the ac in my game room for the reasons listed above. The room is facing south and it’s literally an oven in there and 5+ C than in our living room so it gets hot. AITAH for getting upset at her when she keeps bringing this up every time. We‘ve had over 10+ fights over this same issue. She gets upset too and will not back down.

Edit: it’s a small portable ac that literally only keeps like a meter in front of you cool, not a built in ac system.

If last season showed anything, it showed again that we shouldn’t crown QBs after just one season. Both #2 picks in 23 and 24 were considered better picks after year 1 but after year 3, it can be debated.

Whos been better?

Bryce vs CJ

23- CJ

24- CJ

25- wash

Caleb vs Jayden

24- Jayden

25- Caleb
