Good comeback to “Why do you dye your hair ginger?”

I have mousey brown hair naturally. With my cool pale skin tone, I dye my hair auburn and everything looks richer, it suits me so well.

I get comments on it all of the time, majority ask if it’s natural.. mainly complimenting, but the odd few do laugh and ask why, in not too kind of a way.

I need something sharp and witty to get back to them with that I can add to my book.

I love it and I’m confident with it, but I’d rather have something quick to say than explaining myself.

I blamed my sister for falling down the stairs

I was around 8 years old, and exploring my skill set as children do.

I had a small bedroom bin, Groovy Chick to be exact, that I decided to place over my head.

From what I recall, I wanted to see how well I would get around if I was blind.

I closed my eyes.

I have no idea why I decided to put the bin on my head.

It did not go well.

I started from my bedroom. Predicted my way to the wall, I felt the light switch, then the door frame, and out onto the landing I was.

I turned, one arm outstretched touching the wall, the other lightly holding the banister.

Doing well thus far, my blind confidence had skyrocketed.

My other senses had awakened, beyond the range of human evolution, I was invincible.

I felt the edge of the banister.

I’d walked these steps my entire life.

I was planning to get to the top of the stairs, and open my eyes, full of achievement after completing such a challenge.

I put all of my trust into my inner navigation system. One foot, then another, then another.. into thin air.

It had failed me.

In slow motion, my leg swung in, and I was hurling down the stairs like a tin in a tumble dryer.

It seemed like an eternity.

I came to a sudden halt at the bottom, in a heap onto the tiled floor.

My extremities flailed out in a way I’d never seen before.

The bin crashing around into a slow, clinking roll away from me, as my parents looked around the door from the kitchen. To see the aftermath of disaster, in what was a peaceful afternoon.

I sat bolt upright at lightning speed.

The shock, adrenaline, and embarrassment flooded me in seconds.

For my own stupidity had led me to this moment.

My parents bewildered as to why my bedroom bin was settling alongside me.

I looked up to see my younger sister stood at the top of the stairs, equally as confused.

In my overwhelming embarrassment and self betrayal, I blamed my sister.

I confessed to my parents years later; That it was I who made the shameful misjudgment of the top step.

I still feel guilt for blaming my sister.

Lessons were learnt.

However, the bin was a good helmet.

New player help please

I’m a returning player, however I gave all of my best Pokémon away to my best friend a few years ago when I stopped playing. So I’ve only got basically what I started with, very low level Pokémon (I’ve got 3 with around 1000cp)

I’m super excited to be playing again, and was wondering if anyone wanted to add me and perhaps swap for some decent Pokémon that could help me in gym’s and raids etc.

I’m not sure how it works with distant friends, I know you have to have a high friend level.

I’m online almost all day every day at the moment!

If you can help please comment and send a friend request!

My player is S1llyl3m0n

Friend code is 0412 8649 7130

Thank you in advance, would massively appreciate it, or any advice in general!
