I left her to do her thing and then went back out and put a milk crate over the area to protect them from racoons and so I don't run the mower over that area and crush them. I set an alarm on my watch for 60 days so I'm gonna check back then. I've seen about 6 or so turtles doing this recently but this is the first time I've actually seen the eggs. It's weird because there is only one body of water close to us and it's a hike. So cool!

Pulled over to save this tiny guy on the side of the road. He was bobbing and weaving traffic and almost got hit right before I grabbed him. No mom in sight and he was scared to death. Asked around and put him on Facebook and no one claimed. I've already been hit by the CDS 6 times so I could not keep him, unfortunately.

My first ex wife saw the post and fell in love so he is now in her possession. He is sooo sweet and I cherished the time I got to spend with him. I gave him a couple churus to calm him down because he was a nervous wreck when I got him. After those, he was putty in my hands. I swear those things are like crack to cats.

But, another cat saved thanks to the CDS. Can't wait to see updates on him. He's such a cutie!
